  • I'm 5'4", but I think of myself as a shortie, so I hope it's OK to be in this group :). I used to weigh 105, but I gained 35 pounds in 5 years due to an array of health issues and, also, quite frankly, giving up a little (and giving in a lot)! I'm older now would like to get down to 115 and stay there.
  • I read once, if you burn just 300 calories a day, you'll lose 30 pounds (13.6 kg) in a year. In the short-term, you'll have muscle building, fluid retention and loss, and all kinds of metabolic changes that are going to cause weight fluctuations, but in the long-term, it'll go down.   • I skip lunch a lot and end up eating a handful of nuts, an avocado, or something really light. It works for me.
