  • My wife and I watched from the beginning 2 years ago, one ep on Friday, and 2 on Sat and got caught up quickly! It can be done. Good luck and hope to talk to you soon about season 10, or at least season 5 when Crowley makes his appearance.......
  • OP, you think that your co workers don't notice how hard you are working to eat healthy and lose weight but you are wrong. When I am eating well, my co workers notice and they notice when some weight comes off, even 5 lbs. I have one in particular that comments that "You used to be big like this <hand out from belly…
  • I seen it in Stratford ON, at the toy store at the end of the main street by the library. Unfortunately it was $62 Can, and didn't come home, but if the MasterCard hadn't been close to being maxed out.....
  • Not buying it in the first place, or that's the plan. We usually don't get trick or treaters so we advoid buying it before Halloween. Sure enough last year we had 9 trick or treaters and they got stale granola bars (oops). This year I bought a large box of microwave popcorn from Costco and they will get a bag of that. If…
  • Beautiful and so true!
  • Echoing Power_Man77 on Falling Skies! Currently watching Continuum, rewatching Leverage, working on season 6 of Doctor Who and watched Revolution.
  • I love Lost Girl, a friend of ours got me into it. Can't wait for it to be back on the air. Luckily for me, when Lost Girl ended on Showcase, Continuum started ;)

  • Knitting is great and I do it while we watch tv, hands are busy, no eating. There are some great youtube tutorials and the community at ravelry.com is great. Check to see if there is a knitting guild in your area, folks are friendly and helpful. Exercise is great too, must go more of it. And the water suggestion is…
  • We chose not to have more children after our daughters diagnosis. She is a handful on her own. I often tell people that we have one child who is worth five. At the Autism update last year, we had a gentleman from POND (Province of Ontario Neurodevelopmental Disorders) come and talk to us about autism and genetics and he…
  • I'm working on getting one, hopefully soon after the Mastercard is paid off (again). You can buy one off the website www.fitbit.com or you can get one at an Apple store, it syncs with your iPhone and other Apple products and select Androids (probably not mine LOL) I plan on getting mine at the Apple store near us and…

  • A big thank you to Starbuckette! I had seen that on facebook and didn't bookmark it. Brilliant stuff. OP, your list of goals is great and the suggestions to break them down is great too, lots of great stuff has been suggested. One of the things that was suggested to us by a professional in dealing with these things is to…
  • Holy! And to think membership dues pay their wages. Not sure exactly what I would do. I think I 'd be talking to a local manager about this though. I'd also be taking my girl to our own sitter or going to the gym when someone else was home to watch her for a bit.
  • <<HUGS>> Get your workout in, some "YOU" time is a good thing today. Maybe the time the boys are at the birthday party with you will give your hubby the recharge time he needs. We all need some peace to recharge and that is what our kids are teaching us, along with acceptance and patience. See if you can grab a friend, in…
  • It allows you to see accurately how you divided your food out during the day and if there were any times where you were really hungry so you can add more food to the plan. I broke mine down to morning snacks and afternoon snacks and might get rid of the after supper snack and add a second morning snack. I have 2 breaks in…
  • Bump to read later. sounds like a good mind set.
  • Go and watch a class before you jump in and make sure you talk to the instructor about modifying the moves before you try it. Depending on how bad the asthma is take your inhaler with you and put it by your water bottle just in case. Also remember it is about having fun!
  • Add frozen veggies to everything. Or add them on the side to fill out a meal quickly. Watch the portion sizes on the Kraft dinner/hamburger helper meals, you probably already do this though. I get frozen pizzas when they are on sale or make my own crust and add left over chicken and peppers, onions, and celery to it. We…
  • I haven't lost much weight but, walking to work doesn't feel like I am walking through waist high molasses, shoveling snow was easier this year and I have been enjoying playing with my girl. I second the seat belt extender, so nice not to have to use one with my winter jacket! ;)
  • From what I imagine, getting kicked in the balls is more like IMMEDIATE intense pain that slowly lessens. Labour in child birth starts slow and gradually gets more intense. The comparison isn't fair. Kind of comparing a sprint to a marathon. Not only that but everyone's child birth experience is different. Check out this…
  • bumping for all the great ground turkey recipes! YUMMO. I make it like taco meat and put on green salad with peppers, carrots, grated cheddar, salsa and sour cream for taco salad. You could add crushed nachos on top.
  • I've been looking also, so I want to pay attention to this one. BodyMedia Fit doesn't have a heart rate monitor to it, but apparently it can link to one, or there is the option to do so.
  • Yes, there are similarities in the music. I think the advertisers are doing it on purpose to lure in The Walking Dead fans to their products. Also have you noticed that advertisers are using actors that LOOK like or remind us of famous actors?
  • meshashesha20 -- " andrea really is a silly ho. you just found out your bf was keeping an aquarium full of zombie heads and you're OK with that? the governor must have an enchanted penis" OMG you just made my day! I HAVE TO WATCH this ep now!
  • I need to be reminded about #8. I admit I haven't lost that much since starting MFP, but from my highest point I am down approx 50 pounds. It took a while to accomplish that but it's still 10 packs of paper, or a LARGE bag of potatoes. Thank you!
  • I have been using liquid stevia in my coffee for over a year, I like it better than the powder. Talk to the staff at your health food store for their recommendations, some powders can taste really bitter. Buy the smallest one incase it doesn't work out. Good luck!
  • It is the toughest thing to get rid of, EVERYTHING seems to have sugar in it when you start reading the labels. Even things that don't seem to need sugar (spaghetti sauce) and then there was that cheap chicken we got, fresh chicken and it tasted sooooo good, read the label and low and behold there was sugar in it! Good…
  • I have a TV/DVD player and a bunch of workout DVD's (2 used last week), a bunch of dumbbells and a barbell and plates, yoga mat (cheap and I'm not in love with), a usable exercise ball and a couple of slow leakers (LOL) and an aerobic step. I used to have a free space in my garage to workout in but stuff and other peoples…
  • I usually use Aerobics, low impact and then just add the minutes. It counts as a low impact aerobic activity, LOVE IT!
  • One night after my Grandmother died, she came back in my dream and told me she was alright now. Unfortunately I wound up waking up with the flu and couldn't chat more.
  • Feel free to add me too, I need all the help I can get. I get stuck on how far I still have to go and loose motivation. Other than that, I'm a pretty positive person.
