Okay, I guess I worded that wrong....there ARE good fats....you just have to watch your percentages.

I was just talking about this with my husband (who used to bodybuild). He says while eating for competition he would eat 3000 calories a day, 10% fat, 24% protein, and 66% carbs.....Fat IS the problem!

I'm allergic to peanuts also. Have you tried sunflower seed butter? It's in the natural foods aisle at the grocery store. I actually prefer it over peanut butter or almond butter!

I would go for a high protein, low fat type of shake or supplement. You'll get the protein calories, which do not turn into fat, and that will fill you up and help your workouts too!
