Don't know of any that have the stimulant caffeine effect...maybe chocolate. Processed foods and a diet heavy with carbs make you sluggish. Exercise is a great stimulant IMO.

Whole cows milk is heavenly, but I drink Simply Smart skim. The skim supposedly tastes like 2%. I have started using Sweetened almond milk in my smoothies.

Trace Adkins "just fishin" and "you're gonna miss this", and Carrie Underwood's " Mama's Song", Agree with The Fray "How to save a life" I'll be a terrible empty nester!

Bump.

I don't have a specific junk room, but I have plenty of junk! Strangely enough, since I have changed my lifestyle, I have more of an urge to purge (the house that is). Every week I seem to find stuff to donate, toss, etc. Clean body, clean mind, clean house! It feels good:)

Quality counts. Chips ok every now and then, but I wouldn't use chips to add cals on a regular basis. Carbs just feed the carb cravings anyway.

I agree with the matress comment. I had exact same thing. Achy hips in AM, and also when I turned over in bed. Went away when I got a memory foam mattress. Great investment. Feel better.

That must have been one awesome fashion show. I would have wept for joy! Nice job!

You just made my day! I was just lamenting the fact that I woke up in the middle of the night feeling like I had just climbed out of a swimming pool. Making me feel old, but after reading tat I feel so much BETTER!

You hit the nail on the head! Learning opportunity! This is a long term project. There will be many "over " days. As long as the overall habits change, it's all good. One of the best things I've learned is self forgiveness and the ability to choose to get back on the wagon right now. Don't let a few extra calories ruin…

Evil and sadistic...I like it;)

Love this. Applies to life in general. Bump

One word...EXERCISE!

Also like Sabra Supremely spicy!

Hop aboard one of those helicopters and high tail it to your local mall! Do not pass sewing machine on your way. He sounds like my hubby, except mine likes really expensive mountain bikes. He gets a newer model every year or so...go get some clothes! You deserve them!

Visualize yourself being able to wear just about whatever you want. I sooo love looking forward to getting dressed now. My closet used to depress me, now it makes me happy:)

I would just find a comparable item for fried chicken in data base.

I think about the guilt and shame and lethargy that follows the binge. I hate those feelings.

If you are buying weights, consider getting kettlebells. They are so versatile, and I think they feel better than traditional free weights. Also, exercise TV is great if you must stay at home. Comcast has tons of workouts "on demand"

I agree with above posters (water, food, etc). Also make sure you break a good sweat when you work out. I think it's the endorphin surge that gives you that energy boost. I'm lost now without my endorphins. I even take 16 flights of stairs instead of elevator at work now just for the mind clearing effect it has on me.

5 oz chocolate muscle milk 1 banana 1/4 cup Greek yogurt Large handful of ice cubes Blender Yummy I think the banana is key to smooth out the smoothie. So much creamier with banana!
-
I'm intrigued, but do you taste the greens in there? Just seems a little weird.

A food scale is a great tool. Mine will measure in grams and ounces. Not to expensive either.
-
Same thing with me the other day. I ended up staying at home and doing a yoga session from fitness TV. I usually rather go to gym, but fitness TV is a great option if you're just not up to a vigorous workout. I have Comcast. You can find fitness programs "on demand".

Omg, I just wet my pants! I'm sure there is a pill for that too! His and hers tubs.....I'm dying!

Yep! I posted about this last winter. I have much less tolerance to the cold. Drives me crazy. Me and husband constantly battling over thermostat. I also have Renauds disease which just means terrible circulation in fingers and toes. The minute my fingers touch something cold (shopping cart, metal etc) my fingers blanch…

Yoga can be a great workout and has many other benefits. I also love kettle bells. They are so fun and versatile.
