I'd say you are better off buying fresh. The clean food is important to weight loss. If you are not sure about cals, just estimate. I really don't worry to much about veggie cals. Also, a food scale is helpful.

The elliptical machine at my gym overestimates calories burned by about 25% according to my polat ft4 hrm. I still lost 25 lbs using the machine estimates and mfp. Just recently got the hrm. On the bright side, mfp underestimates my strength training cals burned!

New clothes! I can't stop looking at myself in cute clothes. It feels so good. Not to mention all the cash I spent on the new duds. MUST STAY IN SHAPE! MUST STAY IN SHAPE!!!

My hrm seems to track cals fine with strength training. I have a polar ft4. I keep my HR up by moving quickly from set to set, or sometimes I swing a kettlebell between sets to keep the HR up. I burn as much during strength training as I do with my cardio. I try to burn 400 cals each for cardio and weights.

Jillian Michaels shred it with weights, and Billy Blanks dance workout. I only do them if I don't go to gym. They are not my regular workout, but good options when you are busy or can't make it to the gym. I'm curious about the yoga options.

My favorite breakfast is a serving of cheese grits with a fried egg on top. Eggs being protein keep you going till lunch time. Can you Fit in a mid-morning snack...cheese stick or granola bar?

Just go back to good eating. I wouldn't worry about trying to make up for it. Today is a new day. Forgive yourself and move on. If you try to make up for it you may get too hungry and make bad choices. Everyone has high cal days, it's part of life.

I had the same problem. I had a metal guard put in my wedding ring. They said it would be difficult to resize. The guard is working great. Congrats on the weight loss!

I do Jillian Michaels shred it with weights with a 15 lb KB. It's a 30 minute workout and I burn about 300 cal according to my HRM. It's a great workout. I would give yourself 300 cals. It may be more, but I usually under estimate just to be on the safe side. Good luck!

Yep. I read that yesterday as well. I too always do my intense cardio before moving to the weights. I always thought I could perform the weights better with warm muscles. Who knew! I have cleaned up my diet a lot since starting mfp, but one thing I do not do is sugar free or low fat or fat free products. I've been successful with keeping my butter and full fat products as long as the rest of the menu is clean. I rarely go over my fat and carb allowance even with full fat and sugar products. I know…

Totally agree. Especially the carbs. Carbs beget carbs. I have not allowed myself more than a day or two of "relaxed" eating because I know that the backlash will be brutal. Not worth the cravings and hunger.

Totally agree. I'm proud that I have lost weight, but just as proud that there are so many unhealthy foods that I no llonger crave. Don't get me wrong, I still indulge here and there, but for the most part, I now crave the good stuff!

Didn't like it! Very extreme approach with much gratuitous profanity. I'm not a prude, and I tend to gravitate towards edgy stuff, but I thought this book was worthless. I suppose if you are contemplating veganism it may be worth a look.
