My box is hosting the Festivus so I'm definitely going to do that! Should be exciting to be ranked against other CF-ers!

That's a great goal to be rx-ing most of your workouts...I'm at the point where I rx maybe 3 times a week...I know my weaknesses and am definitely going to concentrate on them in the oncoming weeks!
-
How'd you competition go? My first local competition is 7/14...I'm so pumped!
-
When I started I used to do 2 on 1 off. Now I do Monday thru Friday and I try for one (or on occasion 2 days) of the weekend depending on my plans. I try to get in a rest day and for the most part I do usually get it on the weekends. Good luck!

I'm entering my first competitions as well! Good luck w/ it and defintiely practice a few each day as aggiecass said...3 months is more than enough time to do it! I have to be able to climb the rope in 4 weeks for mine! So far I've been good w/ the climb like 3/4 of the way then i look down and freak out haha

I would just watch to go over on calories (depending on how you much you worked out that day) and carbs. If my protein is high I'm never worried. If my fat is high I would only be worried if my calorie and carb count are high as well.

I went from everyday to a couple times a week...baby steps!

Why don't you just start WW right away? It can get you in the groove of preparing your own meals and get you into the lifestyle of eating healthily. I'm very anti-jenny craig or any other prepared meals type of thing...it may work for a while but when you come off the weight may come back if you're not careful. You might…

I usually make a smoothie--frozen berries, a banana, a scoop of whey protein, almond milk and if I'm feeling EXTRA hungry...some almond butter. Delish!

Congrats--beautiful.

When I started I did 2 on 1 off...then I got lazy and did 2 on 2 off. THENNN I started becoming mildly obsessed and did 6 days on MINIMUM. Since the summer started I've been doing M-F and taking the weekends off. I do not believe that 1 on 1 off is hurting you. 4 days a week is definitely adequate! How is your body…

Sounds like a good one! Are you scaling or rx-ing?

I started last November and will probably not workout any other way again. I made a promsie to myself to go 3 days on 1 off at the minimum and have somewhat kept up w/ it. Except now its 5-6 days on 1 off. I like to call it a healthy cult!! Friending you now! =)

The mere smell of these foods make me gag. Literally: peanut butter or anything peanut related coffee hot dogs mayo

I've heard good things about these and was considering getting myself a pair. I believe if you buy them off of zappos they give you a year to return them!

I have harbinger's and they're ok. I've had them since December and probably use them 3-5 times a week. They started stretching out and have a hold in them (this prob happened a couple months ago) so idk how great they are. Also, b/c I switch I'm going to get new ones somewhat soon..would like some opinions on a new brand!

Feel free to add me as well...Good Luck!

I've completed insanity twice and insanity asylum once. I found that going slow and making sure that form is correct is what helped me to get through the workouts. Around the 2-3 week of the first month I was able to speed myself up and not take as many (if any) breaks. definitely work on form first then go on to speed!…
