Nope, wasn't surprised at all. I knew from reading the boards that MFP over-estimates the calories. With mine, even compared to the gym machines there's a 25% difference most times.

Running on the treadmill in the Gym. Got really hot and sweaty. Shook my head about something on the TV and then saw the look of horror on the face of the really good looking girl on the machine next to mine. I'd just spattered her with sweat :embarassed:

Or just go straight into the Insanity workout. Never heard anybody say that's easy. Mostly they just say stuff like 'That $@#% is bananas :devil:

Tops of my legs at the front - in the groin area is where the most pain seems to be for me. Of course all the rest of me is hurting too. Only done Cardio abs once so far though. Are you using a mat? Pressure on the tailbone can be a mother on the lower back

lol it's called the 30 day shred. You're supposed to do 10 days at each level

I finished it just before Christmas. I'm currently cycling through the levels until I start Insanity on Monday. I will probably go back to it once I've finished Insanity. It's a really great workout and I totally love it......but.......I don't think you can just do the 30 Day Shred for 20 mins every day and nothing else.…

I will admit to being a bit worried. I'm planning on starting on Monday. It's not so much the fit test that has me worried, but I was watching the Max Cardio and thinking about halfway through...'yup, heart attack #1 should happen right about here' :sad:

Depends what you want to do. If you just want to lose fat on your thighs, then I'm afraid you're out of luck. There is no way of spot reducing.

I swim 5 days a week and weight train for 3 of those. If you aren't already weight training, then I would suggest just doing a whole body program for 6 months to a year. Don't worry too much about a swim specific workout. Talk to one of the trainers at the Gym and get them to work out a routine for you. Then start lifting…
