Do your clothes feel like they are fitting better? It is possible that you are losing inches instead of pounds. I have been there myself when I feel like I am killing myself and that stubborn scale will not move at all!! I would keep doing what you are and the scale will start moving. Thanks for the responses. My question is, should I skip my workout tonight to give my muscles time to heal or just keep going along? It is weird because my pants feel so loose today. I would never have guessed that I gained weight! I guess the body does weird things. Amy

I have had 4 c-sections within a little less than 7 years time. I started my weight loss journey at 174 and am down to 166. I weigh 2-3 pounds more at night. I weighed myself the other night for the heck of it and about had a heart attack when it said 3 pounds more than the morning before. When I weighed myself the following morning it was back to normal.

Thanks to everyone for all of the awesome responses!! I actually weighed myself today and I am down 1 pound since Monday. I am so excited. Like some of you have mentioned this is a lifestyle change not a "diet". There are going to be ups and downs along the way, but thankfully I found MFP to help me through this journey.

Thanks to you both. I am back on track tomorrow. The good news is that I ate healthy the first part of the day, so it isn't like the whole day was a wash. Tomorrow's breakfast is greek yogurt with a little granola sprinkled in. I guess today was my cheat day, so I will be good the rest of the weekend.

I am not sure about the sodium issue, but is it by chance the week of your menstraul cycle? I have seen many posts on here that women say they gain a couple pounds during their cycle.
