My mom just told me this last week. I really didn't respond, but let it go in one ear and out the other. I also did not mention to her that I still have 5 pounds to go to reach my goal weight!! I figure that I am doing it the healthy way, by eating right and exercising. I am not putting my health at risk or starving…

I weigh everyday, but I do not let myself get discouraged by the number on the scale.

I was up about 2 pounds today, but I have not been drinking nearly enough water. I cannot wait until all the goodies are out of the house, and then it is back to business! We have been so stinking busy that I have not had time to workout. Cannot wait to get back to normal here soon :)

Any of the Jillian Michaels DVD'S are my favorite.

I have been stuck on a plateau for the whole month of June. Well, actually I have been gaining and losing the same stinking two pounds. I am considering going low-carb to see if that helps, but I know I cannot sustain that lifestyle forever. I am at a loss as what to do!

When I first started MFP back in February, I logged EVERYTHING. I have been a little lax with logging my food lately, but I am still losing. I am more obsessed with working out and I feel extremly guilty if I don't workout every single day. I love this site and I have learned so much from it.

I would drink a BOAT LOAD of water over the next few days. It is probably just an excess of sodium causing the weight gain. Twice now, i have "gained" 2-3 pounds in a few days time. I drank alot of water those days and the "weight gain" disappeared within 24 hours. GL!

I have been doing this DVD also. I spent 1 week each on level 1and 2, but I am doing levels 3 and 4 for two weeks each. I am now on my second week of level 4. I definitely think that Level 3 is the hardest in this workout. (Those duck walks SUCK!) I have lost about 4 pounds since I started (at the end of April). I will…

I tried on my wedding dress (from 2000 when I was at my thinnest adult weight) and it fit! It was a little snug, but it zipped up. I was very excited!

I started this thing (pretty seriously) on March 1st of this year. In a little over 3 months i have lost 14 pounds. I have averaged right around 1 pound a week. I am OK with that because I didn't gain this weight in a month so it definitely will not come off in a month's time either. Just hang in there, you are doing great!

I agree 100%.

I am 5'10 and I am currently 160. My goal weight is 150. My lowest adult weight was around 148. At this point I am more concerned with toning up than losing weight.

I have 12 pounds left to lose. Everything that I have read say the last 10 pounds are the hardest to lose. I agree with the PP who say to try some strength training exercises. Good luck!

I am right there with you! I "gained" 2 pounds since Friday. I know that mine is water retention due to an excess of sodium and hormonal fluctuations, but it sure is a major downer! I am going to drink a crazy amount of water today to try to flush out the sodium. Keep up the good work and don't give up!

My worst time for boredom snacking is at night when the kids go to bed. I try as hard as possible to stay out of the kitchen.

This past January I had enough. All of my clothes felt tight, I had no energy and pretty much felt like crap all the time. I feel so much better about myself now. I am so glad that i found MFP.

Your waistline is amazing! You look great!

I am right there with you. I started this in February wanting to lose a total of 24 pounds by summer. At this point I have lost 11, but the past month I have maybe lost 2-3 pounds total. I am working out 6 days a week and staying within my calorie goals and only having an occasional cheat day here or there. I am not going…

I lost about 5 pounds doing the 30DS. I wish that I would have taken my measurements because I know that I lost inches in my waist and hips. Like some of the previous posters have said, stick with it and you will definitely notice a difference. Good luck to you!

Congrats!

Starting Weight: 166 Goals~ 1. Consume under calorie goal daily 2. Drink 8 glasses of water daily 3. Workout 5 days a week for 30-40…

Congrats, you look awesome!

Congrats!! Buying new clothes feels awesome doesn't it?

Wow! You are one hot mama! Keep up the good work!!

I have lost 9 lbs in 7 weeks, so about an average of 1.29 pounds per week. I have about 15 more to lose. I hope to reach my final goal by mid-summer.

I am in love with Jillian's workouts! I started with the 30 DS and currently doing level 2 of six week six pack. They are very inexpensive and very effective. Feel free to add me as a friend!

You need to drink alot of water today. It is water retention that caused your gain. You would have had to eaten 14,000 calories to actually "gain" 4 pounds. I "gained" 3 pounds last week in 2 days. Drank tons of water, skipped working out that day and it was off the following day. Good luck!

Congrats on the weight loss!! Amy
