  • NO, Saturdays are NOT worth it any longer! Too much hard work goes into our weeks to let food & alcohol ruin it. I've started rewarding myself with things OTHER than food/alcohol such as a pretty new pair of earrings or some run new running socks. Plus, it's setting a better example for my daughter.
  • Because I want my kids, especially my pre-teen daughter, to be proud of her mom and have a healthy, positive outlook on exercise. Too many young girls have self-esteem issues because they're taught they need to be thinner, instead of being encouraged to embrace their own bodies through fitness. I want her to love her…
  • I've been thin & I've been thicker (currently working to tone it all back up) but I got the most appreciation from the opposite sex when I was tone with thick, athletic muscles...men want someone who keep up with them. Very rarely is a rail-thin chick able to keep up for the duration!
