When I first started it took me 55 minutes to "walk" 2 miles. I just kept increasing a little daily. Now I walk run and can do 2 miles in 30 minutes.

I don't. Are you talking 1200 net or gross. I do 1200 net. But I eat 1600, 1800 sometimes over 2000 every day. But I net 1200.

It depends what you mean by cheat day. For me I have days that I am over on my calories. Does not mean I ate a bunch of crap that is going to ruin everything I have worked so hard to do. It just means usually that it was my day off from working out. So I did not have the exercise calories that I normally get to eat back.…

I have George and Lucas (yes I am a star wars fan) George is a brown tabby and weighs in at a whopping 26 pounds. Lucas is white and black and weighs in around 6 pounds. Love them both!

^^^^ Same here. I don't worry about carbs. I worry about protein. As long as I am getting a lot of protein and stay in my calorie limit then I don't worry.

When I started on MFP I ate only 1200 calories that it gave me not understanding how it worked. After reading many posts and all the wonderful advice I started eating back my exercise calories. Now I am netting 1200 and grossing anywhere from 1500-2000 a day. Oh, and some of those are beer calories. Have at least 2 a day.…

I go by weekly totals on MFP instead of daily. This way when I have plans to eat dinner out or maybe a birthday party with cake I can enjoy without taking me off track. I do this by leaving a couple hundred calories for the day. Then if I am over on another day I am still in my weekly goal. This has been working for me.

Water and exercise. Whenever I am hungry and it is not a meal or snack time I drink a glass of water. If it works then I was just thirsty. I also noticed on days I do not work out I am really hungry. You would think it would be the opposite. So somehow working out curbs appetite as well.

When you say you stay close to 1200 do you mean 1200 Gross or 1200 net? There is a big difference. You need to hit your 1200 net minimum a day.

I am 5'5.5 and my goal weight is 128-130. I have been as low as 118 when I was younger and high as 158. I have small bone frame except for my butt and hips. So I am going for 128 but will be happy with 130 as well since I am 41 and never ever want to be 118 again. When I look back at the pictures I was really too small.

I do it all the time and it works for me. I bank for going out to eat and if I have a day that is over I make up for it being a little under the next few days. Go by the week not the day. My goal is to hit my weekly totals.

I have fitbit and a HRM. I use them both together. HRM to log actual exercise to get the most accurate calorie burn. Yep, totally agree. I am at 25.5 pounds lost but my ticker says 26 pounds. I would rather it say 24 instead of 26.
