^^^^ I have around 6 pounds to lose to hit goal. This above is how I started thinking. Instead of worrying about the last 6 pounds I am working on getting fit and stronger.

Everyone can figure out what works best for them. But for me I am set at 1200. But I eat 1200 net. If I am hungry I eat back my exercise calories. If I am not then I don't. If I am under on one day it lets me be over on another day. I go by the week not the day.

You are already set at a deficit. That is why MFP gives them back to you because eating them you will still be at a deficit and can lose weight. When everyone says I am set at 1200 calories does that mean Net or Gross? I think the topic can be confusing unless you are saying net or gross behind your 1200 number. I am set at 1200 and eat 1200 NET. So I am really eating more than 1200 calories.

I don't think anyone should be made to feel bad because they asked a question instead of looking in search. When I was new I did not know what the search was even for. I was just trying to figure things out.

To be honest with you when I was new and asked a question someone responded to me just like you did here. It made me feel bad and not very welcomed in the forum community.

I did two rounds of P90X. You can check out my before and after on my profile. Love it and will never stop. But! I did buy Turbo Fire and now am doing a hybrid between the two. Turbo Fire is so much fun that it was a nice addition. Chalean is just so motivating. Good Luck!

I fell in love with P90X last year after trying all kinds of workout DVD's. When I started P90X this is when I really started to see a difference. I also started Turbo fire and now do a hybrid between the two but I don't think I will ever stop P90X.

DO measure weekly. You could be losing inches even when the scale is not moving. DON'T measure your success by just what the scale says. Weight fluctuates.

Same here just hang in there. My first round of P90X I felt stronger when complete but I really saw a difference in my body after round 2. I really think bone structure has a lot to do with it. Even if I am in shape and have a normal BMI my butt and thighs would never allow me to be a zero. My skeleton could not be a size zero. It's just how I am built.

I have done both. Don't be scared of P90X. I was in the beginning as well. 30DS is ok. Really depends on your fitness level. The workouts are around 20-30 minutes long. You are eating less than me and I am a female. Eat back those exercise calories. Give your body fuel. Your goal should be to hit 1500 calories net not gross.
