Sprints will bring it down. 30/60s 60/120s. Also can go for distance. Do a 1/2mile warm up jog, slow pace then 1/4 mile sprint then walk 1/8 mile repeat for a total of 2miles. then a cool down jog and stretch.

Find a trainer who can get your form correct with the compound barbell lifts. Deadlifts, squats, presses, rows. Check out the book Starting Strength if you can. Strong lifts is similar to that and free on the website (google strong lifts). Start light, get the form down then keep adding weight

If your lactose intolerant or allergic to dairy then yeah, they are. i drink whole milk, used to buy almond milk as well for my ex who was allergic to dairy, its good

Most gyms offer a free day, check it out. see if you like the trainers and if they are detailed with watching peoples form and coaching . there are some vocal crossfit haters on this board so be ready for it :)

Stretch afterwards, drink plenty of water through out the day, and keep your body fueled. If your going off of MFPs default protein numbers, youd do good to up it. Have fun and be safe!

IMO if you dont have a lot of extra body fat (a high BF%) then you should eat at least some if not all of them back. The 1200 is your deficit to eat, when you exercise you end up with a bigger deficit. Keep the body fueled. If your going to go to the gym as well, I would suggest getting introduced to barbell compound lifts…
