  • I loved zoodles and chef boyardi ravioli as a kid. Would still pig out on them if they didn't give me heartburn. I'm a real bad sugar junkie so would like friends who understand and aren't judgmental. In the last 3 days I've pigged out on chocolate covered jujubes, hot fudge sauce and ferrero rocher. So good.
  • Hi, I'm Dee and I've been an emotional eater since puberty. I'd love to have some more friends who understand, so feel free to add me.
  • Be sure to get your thyroid gland tested. If it is underactive you will never lose weight. Also some medications cause weight gain or difficulties in losing, so check that our too.

I turned to drugs/booze as well (clean now) but after quitting that, and being in a stressful relationship, I started eating and gained 50 lbs. • yes, a new med might just have to be tried, something that doesn't cause weight gain, maybe Topamax, which I hear can actually make some people lose weigh, or Lamotragine, which is weigh neutral. Seroquel is a bugger.:frown:
  • I am a sugar chocolate addict and I find doing the twelve step program, Over-eaters Anonymous can really help keep you on track. like alcohol you need to give it up for good. Every one in the O.A. is struggling with some addiction to food, ts a great support environment. Check it out for meeting near you online.
  • Hi, i have been on Paxil since 1996 and take clonazepam and Seroquel too. Recently my shrink tried to add in Abilify to boost my antidepressant and it resulted in terrible weight gain (25lbs). I was wondering how many others take medication that cause you to pack on the lbs and what you do to combat it. I'm hungry all the…
