Black Hawk Down. When guy is sitting in helicopter (maybe) and hears the enemy approaching and takes out the picture of his family or kids. I'm not even sure what really happens here b/c I cant rewatch it. Second is Titanic when mother is reading to her two kids as ship is going down. Also remember leaving the classroom…

welcome holly! best of luck! best advice i've ever gotten is one salad wont make me skinny, just like one bacon cheeseburger didn't make me fat. second best advice was eat to live instead of living to eat. you can do this!

i found i was most motivated when i signed up for a challenge, race or fundraiser. didn't want to be last to cross the finish line, although that did happen once. it gave me that little extra push. also, working out with a partner who expects you to be there helps. maybe a swim buddy?

nobody cares what youre doing except you. there are plenty of programs out there on the internet. can't remember which one i used, but one thing i recommend it writing it down on an index card and carrying it in your pocket so you can refer to it. checking your phone every lift makes you look like an idiot. but thats only…

my son is 14. here's some of what i've learned when he was a newborn...congrats, btw... put the car seat in the car NOW, then drive to local police department or fire station to have it checked for proper (safe) installation. One of you should sleep when the baby sleeps during the first few weeks, at least part of the…

i like quest too. but depends what you are looking for? meal replacement? recovery?

yes! my stomach, where i have most to lose, constantly itches. and seems drier but not sure if that's bc of winter. someone do a study on this and report your findings in easy to read and understand terminology for me.

i use my air fryer almost daily. never added oil to anything. I only cook for one and can def see how feeding more than two would take some time. chicken, steaks, wings, veggies, meatballs, pork chops, shrimp, burgers, chicken burgers are some of what I cook. It's quick, clean up is easy. I've had mine almost two years and…

i take two melatonin gummies before bed. i get them at target. i can def tell a difference if i don't take them. also got a sound machine for Christmas that i LOVE and makes a big difference in staying asleep. I know OP said troubles are falling asleep, which is the melatonin. also was recommended a glass of cherry juice…

been doing keto since september. here's some tips i've learned along the way... 1. be prepared. food prep. my schedule is a bit crazy with long days sometimes and it helps to have premade meals i can just reheat. that way i am not stopping at fast food or grabbing take out or pizza. 2. its still all about calories in…

everything I've ever read from any type of reliable source says a minimum of 1200 calories on any plan. been doing keto since september and find i eat less bc the protein keeps me fuller longer. when you break it down, it is still calories in has to be less than calories out in order to be in a deficit and lose weight. i…

rotisserie chicken is must have. they have a great mixed fruit bowl for like ten bucks. pork tenderloin already seasoned and cut is a steal too, altho not always available. like their sirlion steaks and their shrimp, altho I haven't had that in a while. I do a lot of my cooking in my air fryer and find costco has some…

never had a cup. have tasted it to know i don't like it, altho i do like the smell!

nobody is watching you. just go with a plan and do your thing! its not as bad as it seems. just went back myself after over two years. it's great! go get you some!

slow, slow bicycle until range of motion comes all the way back. then, eventually elliptical. I found best exercise after knee surgery was upper body lifting. depends on how far out of surgery you are and what they did other than a clean out. if walking isn't a problem at this point, then treadmill. can also work on balance…

wood bat is awesome! not that i play, but my son occasionally plays in wood bat tournaments. so fun! position?

i can remember trying to improve my health with an arm bike type thingy. i sat upright and "peddaled" the bike with my arms. it was super tough. can't remember exact name of it, but my guess is a physical therapy place would have one for you as it did me. If after your therapy place has one, ask if you can use it for a few…

i, too, enjoyed reading these so will come forth with my own. had been at local gym for a few months, long enough to have a routine and feel like i knew what i was doing. switched up my routine and moved my declined bench press to the later part of my workout. put on my usual load, did a few reps and had bar come crashing…

the 1-800 KARS FOR KIDS commercial! so ridiculous.

i'd walk. and drink a ton of water. maybe epsom (sic?) salt bath if its super bad.

interesting. never heard of keto flu, but i def had it last week. lost two days of work bc of it. figured it was regular flu and just bad timing as it was a few days (week?) after starting keto. there are parts of the days i don't remember. wicked muscle spasms whenever i stretched to reach something. also learned that…

http://www.emergebutterfly.com/product/versa-gripps-pro-glove-weight-lifting-straps-hooks-pro-black-mediumlarge/ Check these out. I have tried gloves and found these to be better for me. Search around b/c I wouldn't have paid what it shows here. These might be better for you since it is only for some lifts and not others.…
