more of a non-fiction kind of guy...my last two were pretty good... skyjacked which is about the mystery of db cooper and no easy day the recently released story about the killing of bin laden written by the seal who was on the team. both worth the time.

my bath last night really helped. felt better immediately and helped me get thru the day today. i was even able to hit the elliptical today. thanks for everyone's advice. i am a believer!

i love my ft4. looked in to getting a 7, but didn't need all it offered. strap isn't a big deal. just keep it tighter than you might expect so it doesn't slip down. good luck.

i pretty much just run it under cold water, squeeze it a bit and hang it to dry. altho, i've prob only used it 10 times since i've gotten it. i think i would stay away from the washing machine.

a gallon of water weighs 8 pound. instant hand weights for about a buck a piece.

i over did it yesterday too. hit a mountain bike trail that was clearly above my ability. sore all over. my advice would be to stretch, drink water and do some type of light exercise to get the acid moving in your system. i plan on walking to the grocery store and back, nothing major but it is something that will help.

love my new ft4. gives me a count of calories burned. which was what i was looking for. the ft7 had a bunch of stuff that i didn't think i would use. determine what it is you are looking for, then decide which is the better fit.

my 8 year old son gets the words for Taio Cruz's DYNAMITE mixed up... original words..."I throw my hands up in the air sometimes, saying AYO, gotta let go..." my son's words..." I throw my hands up in the air sometimes, saying AYO, I like mayo..." now i can't stop laughing. his friend sings it that way too.

i had a similar situation... i realized i was eating out of habit, instead of being hungry at that time. so i still eat, just something better for me. for me, it is an apple now instead of chips or cookies or chips AND cookies. the apple provides the crunch i seem to be looking for. break the habit, or modify it to work…

how about something you can do together... like a gift certificate to paintball, and you go with her. or something like that. my original thought was a bicycle, and if you have one or get one, it is something you can both motivate each other to do. what about a heart rate monitor? or tickets to a sporting event you both…

restocked fridge for same reason yesterday. food store didn't have all i needed, but went with eggs, low sodium turkey breast, chicken cutlets, low fat yogurt and as many fresh fruits and veggies as i could find. hope you did ok with the storm!

used my new polar4ft three times so far. after five minutes, i don't notice the strap. to be honest, the watch is more annoying to me, but i've never been a watch person. happy with it, overall. amazon has best prices.

bike shorts. a bit pricey, but your butt will thank you. then you will stop biking b/c your legs hurt, not your tush!
