I just started Zumba too. I hope you love it as much as I do.

I teach English. I wear my Fitbit to school, and I average walking two to three miles each day at school.

I love mine. Please do not buy the JM dvd. It is not worth the money. There are better ones on YouTube for free.

I live in Rogersville (between Florence and Huntsville), but I grew up in Hamilton. It's great to see so many Bama folks here!

I have been doing kettle bell for 2 months now. I use the contoured and love them. They work better for windmills and snatches. I started at five pounds for a couple of weeks until I learned the proper technique. Now, I'm using a 10 pound, and I've asked for 12 and 15 pound ones for Christmas. I take two to three classes a…

I used to own a bakery. In my ServSafe classes, they taught that you could keep things like pies in the frig for seven days (counting the day you made it). We never kept anything like that longer than three. I agree with freezing it. Either way, enjoy it!

I broke my "baby" toe at the end of August. When they did xrays, they discovered that it splintered, and it is still swollen and giving me fits. Buddy taping was out of the question and swimming hurt like crazy. :( Anyway, I suggest that you try kettlebells. You still get a cardio workout, and you really don't have to move…

I've seen that. It just seems so high. I wonder if how heavy the weights are matter. I'm only using 7lb and 10lb right now.

I would like to know this too.

The going away dress from my wedding. I pull it out every once in a while and try it on. I can zip it, but I want to be able to sit down in it!

Yep. I'm not sure what to do about my rings. My fingers are tiny anyway, and I'm not sure how much further the rings can be cut down. If you do decide to have them sized, remember that your fingers are larger in warm weather than in cold. I guess I'll wait until this summer and have them sized then.

I swim during the summer, and I love it. It is by far my favorite exercise, and I have seen results from swimming. Do anything that gets you moving.

I have bought a few things at consignment stores and thrift stores (just to get me by). I'm planning a HUGE shopping trip when I meet my goal.

I eat almonds every day. I eat half of a serving (12 almonds) with my lunch, and then I eat the other half of a serving when I get home from work. I LOVE the ones coated in cocoa or cinnamon.

Done.

I wish I would have taken a before picture. I didn't even do measurements. Now, I just keep wondering if the pounds are making any difference.

Hmmm. We'll see.

I dropped Diet Coke in May, and I feel much better! Now, I am soda free. I don't even want soda at all. Also, my weight loss picked up after I kicked the habit. Artificial sugars do make you crave more sugar.

I'm 5'8 and 145 pounds. I wear a US size 10. Keep in mind that I'm a pear shape. I store all my weight in my hips. I lost over 10 pounds before I saw any difference in pants size (I was a US size 12). I swim about two times a week and walk/jog three to five miles a day. I hope this helps.

You will love it!

About three months.

For me, it is anything between 3.5 and 4 miles per hour.

You HAVE to try Joseph's Lavash Bread. They are huge rectangle shaped wraps and are only 4 net grams of carbs per serving. We made flatbread pizzas with them today. They were wonderful!

I love it. My husband bought it for me for my birthday (at the Verizon store), and I begged him to give it to me early. I'm so glad he did. It really gives me a good estimate of how many calories I'm burning and how active I am during the day. Before I got the Fitbit, I didn't realize how much time during the day that I…

I decided to buy a used treadmill off of Craigslist. I think it was a good choice because I didn't want to invest a lot of money in something that I might not use. Now, the treadmill is my backup plan. Anytime the weather is too bad to exercise outside, I just climb onto the treadmill.
