Almonds??

So I have a question about Natural almonds,
Everywhere I read they are meant to be good for you....yet why do I have a panic when I see the calories and fat content going into my diary.
Surely all these nutrition specialists cannot be wrong...or should I stick to my Bananas which have a lower calorie content.
Any advice appreciated.

Almonds are wonderful and yes, they have a great deal of calories but the fats are good fats. Like everything in life, we eat them in moderation.
PS: After peeking at your diary, you may want to reconsider the beer and not food. Just a thought.0 -
LOL The beer!
I eat almonds and bananas. They don't scare me.0 -
I eat almonds every day. I eat half of a serving (12 almonds) with my lunch, and then I eat the other half of a serving when I get home from work. I LOVE the ones coated in cocoa or cinnamon.0

I eat raw almonds every day. Good fats are totally different than eating a Big Mac.0

Fiber and protein are the good parts about almonds. They far outweigh the fat and calories. I count mine out - I eat 12 in the morning as a snack or with my lunch and 12 more in the afternoon with an apple (per the advise of a nutritionist). Better calories than calories from beer. Sorry dude.0

I eat 27g of natural almonds at least every other day. I have made it a habit to include them. I love them and they are super tasty and healthy!
If you can't include them daily or every other day. I would try ways to sneak them into your meals. Put a little on your salads, in your yogurt or even use slivered ones with vegetables!0 -
