Depends...on whether I'm anticipating kissing them or not. If so, they better be minty-fresh and sparkle-clean. My "thing" is fingernails. I don't give a care what you do for a living...you can take care of your fingernails. Trim, clean the dirt, pumice off the calluses, and use some friggin lotion. If a man has sexy, well…

I always thoroughly research my games prior to purchasing/playing them. So there is no "surprise" involved. I also don't play explicit games as I have minor children at home who often watch me game over my shoulder. Maybe when they're all grown and gone, I can get rowdy in the pixels.

Here are some things I've learned about how my nutrition, and my exercises work to help or prevent me from losing weight. For me, I don't lose weight unless I eat enough protein. So I have to keep my carbs lower than MFP's standard setup and my protein higher. My protein goals are set to 30% of my calories and carbs are…

Having a cookout. Hamburgers, hotdogs, baked beans, and homemade macaroni salad and potato salad (with low fat mayo, etc.) No dessert, since the Easter bunny brought chocolate for the kiddies. The gym is closed today, so I did two workouts yesterday to make up for it

^^ This right here. Stop trying to find substitutes for the high calories yummies we like. Greek yogurt (real greek yogurt) is delicious and creamy, but it is NOT key lime pie. Veggie burgers are tasty but they are NOT hamburgers. If you want key lime pie or a hamburger, then fit the REAL thing into your calories. And…

What do you have your activity level What is your daily activity goal? How long have you been eating at a deficit? And do you have any cheat meals or days? If so, tell us about them. Have you considered exercise such as weight lifting and boxing? Things that can be done mostly with your upper body? Check out Nick Scott -…

We're the same age, so here's my advice. * Don't go looking. Meat markets are not where the 'keepers' are. * Be active and do things that you enjoy. Make lots of friends doing things you enjoy. * Be happy in your own company. Be 100% complete without another person. An emotionally healthy person wants another emotionally…

Everything is already included, except for the fitness related, purposeful exercise you do.

I met my partner online, in a chat room, 9 years ago. He moved across country to live with me and introduced me to EQ. We played together and I ended up the guild leader of a top 5 guild (on the server). At one point, we each had 3 accounts and together, could fill an entire group, with each of us 3 boxing (I played tank,…

Maybe it isn't speed, but MET measurements? I haven't done the elliptical in a while, but I don't remember it showing me speed, but it did show me MET's. 6 was easy peasy like swimming, 10 was pretty stiff, and 12 is very intense, like hill intervals or running an 8 minute mile. MET is Metabolic Equivalent of Task. It…

I started by just going out and doing it. When I felt I couldn't run any more, I walked until I could run again. Repeat until you've achieved your goal for the day. Good running shoes helped a LOT. For me, I love running at night, with my Ipod. Like I'm the only person in the world...flying along in the dark.

Well, that's not necessarily true. Traffic lights often have magnetic coils or plates built under the road (check for pavement cuts, to see if there is one) which your vehicle will disturb if positioned correctly. This triggers the light to begin the change process. Adjusting your position (by inching up) can sometimes…

...that you don't STOP at the merge point of a roundabout. Particularly if there's not a car in sight. ...that honking the split second the light turns green makes me want to go postal on your a**. Learn to relax for God's sake.

I worked full time from home (via internet) for 4 years. I still work from home, doing the same job, part time, but I now also go to an office full time, days. I loved doing it, I was pregnant and then had an infant/toddler during that time. The secret is to treat it like a formal office. Get in there, sit down and work.…

I eat "fried" food all the time. I've already completed today's diary and you can see that I'm having fried chicken. I'll dip the boneless, skinless breast in egg whites, then into seasoned bread crumbs, then pan fry in organic, olive oil cooking spray. Oh and then afterwards, I'm putting marinara sauce with some fat free…

You lose fat in the same order you put it on. If the first place you put fat on was the 'saddlebag' region of your thighs, then it will sadly be the last place you lose it. That said, I've had saddlebags when I was reasonably thin so figured I'd have a bad case at this weight. I'm wrong though, running has had quite an…

Very cool!! If you'd like a friend who adores Moose Tracks (but says no, usually) and wasn't a runner at all before I made myself do it anyway, feel free to add me :flowerforyou:

Clearwater, FL. Have also lived in St. Pete and several beach towns. I'm near goal weight (total lost = 40 lbs), working on recomposition currently. Lifting heavy at the YMCA and eating well. Still doing cardio too though, it's fun! Have lost 12 1/2 inches so far this year. Bunch to go!

I don't worry too much about fruit sugars (in natural form). I look at why I am over and how much of that number is from added sugars. I eat sugar free bread and protein bars and use products with Stevia as a sweetener which helps. I'm still over, but it usually isn't because of desserts or sugary drinks or sweetened…

I was 105 lbs. But I grew another inch and developed some curves, so now I'm aiming for 130-135.

Hmmm, I think everyone has to do this their own way, and use what tools work for them. Some feel better eating natural and earthy foods and others want their comfort foods. The biggest trick to losing weight successfully is finding what works for YOU. I'm having a cookout this Easter Sunday...hamburgers, hotdogs, potato…

And for those who have the numbers right, but are STILL not losing weight...it's almost always because either: a) You aren't being completely accurate in your food logs. Be sure to measure, weigh and log every bite. Cheat days can kill a diet. b) You are overestimating your calorie burns during workouts. Not everyone burns…

Yeah, me too!! My tats look just fine (tyvm) and when I reach my goal weight, I'm going to get a new one that will wrap from my waist down around the butterfly I already have on my hip and wander on down my thigh and curl around....etc. And I may get my navel pierced, depending on how flat my abs get. So there.
