I am 54 5'5" SW 185 CW 155 GW 130-135 Note that I fell off the wagon for a couple years and rocketed back up to 177 right before Christmas. I'm back and doing well this time. I might not need to go as low as 135, I'm already wearing size 6's. My tips are to eat lots of veggies, keep protein up, avoid processed carbs and…

I weigh every day, even when things aren't going well. I also use an app called Weight Record on my Ipad and it graphs the weight for me. So I can see after a big meal how it affects me the next day, and then goes back to normal. I can detect trends or plateaus and address them immediately to keep the movement going in the…

Think Thin - Creamy Peanut Butter flavor. Yumm yumm! All natural, no sugar. Recommended by my dietitian.

You can do it! I gained a lot of mine back too (25 of 40 lbs). Got serious right before Christmas and am down 16 of those 25 and 2 sizes! 9 more lbs and I'll be in my favorite size :). Hang in there and keep at it.

Currently engrossed in GW2 and Wildstar.

Or expecting results too quickly. Anything I do, good or bad, takes weeks (2-4) to be reflected via my scale.

I'll tell you what I found. I log, I weigh, and I measure everything. I chart and graph it. So WTF is wrong that I can't lose weight? Looking carefully at my graphs tells me that I lose as though I were eating 200 calories more per day than my log shows I am. And that every single cheat delays my progress by weeks. Upon…

Clearwater, probably moving to Palm Harbor soon.

Me too, Xaniza. I just recently resubscribed. I miss the PvP mostly. I have also been playing Rift, Neverwinter, and EQ, but none of them have PvP to match WoW.

Doctor said I have some sort of auto immune issue, according to my bloodwork, and referred me to a specialist. He doesn't know what and I haven't been to the specialist yet. But I know that I feel better and lose weight slightly, as well as got rid of a nasty rash when I don't eat gluten. So I am avoiding. Gluten bloats me…

Yes and it's really bad. I'm done indulging and ready to get back to work.

The first computer game I ever played was some puzzle game on a cassette player, hooked to a monitor. It was all text, you had to type out your next move. I can't remember the name for sure, but I think it was Adventureland. I played for hours. I was definitely a gamer! Then came the consoles and Sonic, Mario, and Zelda.…

We pay $66 a month for a family membership. This includes indoor pool, steam room, sauna, hot tub, kids zone daycare, a very well equipped gym, and many classes (zumba, spinning, circuit training, step, kickboxing). In addition, there are extra sports activities such as dance, soccer, basketball, swimming, and softball for…

Well, you could be like me and not be losing anything (for many months). I did finally make a doctor's appt, but can you imagine how discouraging? You are losing, no matter how slow, so what you are doing is working! Just keep at it :flowerforyou:

Welcome to MFP!! :flowerforyou: I do get specific, because I've learned that just a little variance here and a little variance there can mean the difference between losing weight and not losing weight. So I measure, weigh and use labels to know exactly what I'm putting into my mouth. Even after years of doing this, I can…

Olive Garden chicken parm pasta with salad, bread sticks and dipping sauce. Then Cheesecake Factory for cheesecake. A non-alcoholic grapefruit/cranberry cocktail.

I would just add it to breakfast as sugar. To address the issue, do you eat regularly (every 2-3 hours) and avoid processed foods/simple sugars? I crash if I go too long without eating, so maybe you need to have a small snack right before bed to help keep your insulin level throughout the night? Maybe a piece of fruit or…

Little update: I had another period a week after the first one. No more hot flashes in several months, although I'm still cranky as hades. Cannot seem to lose weight, no matter what I do. Guess I'm back at square one!

Lol, because of my age? I actually like only a little classic rock, prefer jazz and metal and some alternative.
