Personally I find the exercise helps with the pain. I just get on with it and don't let it stop me. Goddam awful TOM :grumble:

This is so sad. We have the same problem here in the UK. Kids are just so cocky and rude. BUT, not my kids! Oh no. Never. They wouldn't DARE. And why is that? Cos their father & I have brought them up better than that. They know it's wrong and hurtful and I can't imagine either of them speaking to anyone like that.…

I guess I could set a new target weight. I have a HRM (polar FT4) which i use all the time. The only equipment I have is dumbells. I have a friend that have those scales, I guess I could "borrow" his! At the moment money is really tight so I can't really afford anymore equipment, I don't know what hex gym plates are!! I'll…

I was recently asked if my weight loss was intentional!!! It was from my manager at work, he thought it due to stress or something!! I think he meant well, and it was nice when he said I looked damn good!!! :blushing:

Thanks for replying. People have actually said that on MFP. That abs are made in the kitchen. It's hard to know what to believe! I do work the whole body, but I also target abs about 3 times a week doing crunches, planks etc. I have had 2 kids and people tell me I'll never lose my baby belly unless I have a tummy tuck…

I have a question. I'm almost at my goal weight. I've lost from everywhere but my belly  so if I can only achieve a flat tummy from weight loss, how am I to do that when I'm eating at maintenance??? :frown:

Happy Birthday to you! :flowerforyou: I turn 40 in September :grumble: not too pleased about it, but hey, just gotta go with it! I'm using it as an excuse for a holiday! My fella and I are celebrating in Barcelona  can't wait! Enjoy your day :drinker:

I'm totally with you on this one! There's no way I'd join a gym, I'd feel so uncomfortable, besides, I can't afford it!! I work out at home, I do 30 Day Shred, Ripped in 30 and other DVD's. I recently bought myself a bike, the first time I went out on it I was soooo nervous thinking people would be laughing at me, but in…

Great work! and how pretty are you???!!! :flowerforyou:

You absolutly CAN do it! I'm on level 3, day 9, so nearly finished. My first day on level 1 nearly killed me! but I stuck with it and was amazed at how well I could do in time. Don't push yourself too hard to start with, remember you're doing this for YOU not your husband. Don't overdo it just to prove a point to…

This is one of the most debated topics on MFP! Personally, I eat all mine back if I'm hungry, about half if not so hungry. It's worked for me so far, but everyone's different so you really need to find what works for you hun. Good luck! :flowerforyou:

Is he new to the gym and lifting weights? If so, it may be fat turning to muscle? Has he been measuring himself to see if he's lost any inches? Has he had to buy new clothes? I'm sure lots of others will have better advice for you, these are just the things that people ask time & time again when the scales aren't moving!…

I'd get yourself a HRM then you'll know!

I have the Polar FT4. It's great, the chest strap is really comfy and the watch part isn't ugly or huge so you can wear it outside and it pretty much looks like a normal watch! You can get one on ebay or amazon for about £50 I think.

I hate mine. :embarassed: Sorry, but I do. I have them on my hips from puberty and on my tummy from having my 2 boys. I also hate my varicose veins on the backs of my legs which also came after having my eldest son. That said, I still wear a bikini on holiday, to hell with it! My fella thinks I'm sexy and that's all that…

Aw that is sooo great!! My poor moggy is poorly at the moment and I'm struggling to get her to eat anyhting. She's had a few bits of turkey, but that's it. I hope your cat is back to full health soon, and mine too

yeah, kinda. :ohwell: I've lost 20lbs, gone down a dress and bra size, but I still have days where I feel really fat. I look in the mirror and think, god you still need to lose loads of weight. I've got 2 great kids, but cos of that I have the dreaded baby belly  I'm desperate for my body to change, I know I have to…

 bless you! I'm on level 3, day 7, so almost done! Trust me, it DOES get easier, by days 5 or 6, you'll be flying through, but you have to stick at it and yes, do more streches than Jillian does at the end. I found also that doing 15 minutes or so of light cardio, dancing, aerobics etc, really helped with the…
