there are many different calories depending on a variety of things that may be different. The only way to be assured is if there is a nutrition label otherwise you just need to pick the one that fits closest to what you are eating and hope for the best.

I know i should have avoided the restaurant altogether but.... I ran before dinner but it wasn't enough, i am over by 300 calories today, if i just hadn't eaten those rolls!…

yes, there is hope for you!! :smile: Just keep being consistent with your training. It is ok to run/walk a 5k. I also suggest you get outside and run as it is different than running on a treadmill. You can do this. Good Luck. :flowerforyou:

I couldn't believe Allison was in the bottom 3, i even voted this week because i was worried about her. Seems that she doesn't have a big fan base, even though i totally think she is the best! I think the right ones went home last night, although i thought Matt should have been in the bottom not Allison.

i always strecth after my muscles are warmed up not before. Try a Fit Roller for stretching out your back, that are large hard foam tubes available at Target, they work great for stretching out your back and also for rolling out your legs.

one of those key boxes that stick under your car would work. In a pinch i leave my keys on top of my car tire out of sight, of course i live & race in very safe area. Most of the large races in big cities have baggage checks.

Occasional chips won't hurt you, just don't eat the whole bag! I made black bean salsa for a work potluck and brought whole grain chips and also celery. I ate 3 chips and 3 sticks of celery with the salsa. I think it was a good choice.

I find running is the best way to burn the most calories in the least amount of time, besides that all you do is go out your front door and run.

Good Luck!! They are sooo much fun! Do you have a road bike? Make sure you do some lake swimming before the tri, it is much different than swimming in a pool. I love the spring tri's, I've also done an olympic distance(CHicago) and the swim portion of a half ironman as a team.

I have 2 children and am now 45, i finally got tired of the leakage, it was getting worse. Had the sling procedure done, problem solved. It is a 30 minute procedure to sling up the bladder.

Just do it! Is there a pool you can do laps in, an indoor place to work out? 100 degrees is definatle:tongue: y fricken hot! Excercise can be very theraputic if you can just start doing it.... Maybe you can work to doing a 5K in your friends honor?
