Running in warm rain is awesome, running in cold rain not so much! I wear a hat when it's raining. IMy favorite is running in the snow! But not running on ice, learned that the hard way and ended up with a hip injury. Also for wet shoes after you are done put some newspaper in them to absorb the moisture. Enjoy!

I say go for it. If you can get a Run or some aerobic excercise in that would be good but if not I wouldn't feel guilty about one day. Have Fun.

Struggling this week, TOM, haven't felt much like doing cardio or drinking h2o. I am going to Run tonight and tomorrow and hope for the best on Friday's weigh in.:ohwell:

I just found my grocery store online and they have some great coupons on the website, better than I get in the newspaper, lately there hasn't been as many coupons in the paper. There are also a lot of good websites out now that tell you how to save money on your groceries, if I didn't have a full-time job I would have more…

i totally disagree, running does not make your legs look bigger, have you ever taken a look at pro marathoner's? runners have thin legs, now biking that's a different story, biking can make your legs big. Running is the quickest way to lose fat with the least amount of time to put into excercise.

My sons (19 & 14) got me a dozen beautiful roses, and it was all on their own accord! My husband who is not their father got me a running skort and bike computer, it was also my husband's birthday and he had to work so we shared the evening

for the running bras for the well endowed check out www.enell.com Alot of people rave over these although they are a little pricey i hear they are totally worth it.

how bout biking, supposed to be easier on the knees, of course swimming is the least impact but it;s hard to find a pool to swim laps in. Our highschool allows a swim master program swim time in the morning before school, you could check out swim master programs in your area. I'm dealing with a Frozen Shoulder so no…

Start reading success stories on this site, join an excercise class or running club, download some healthy recipes, stop having a pity party and get back at it girl!!! Only you can do this for yourself and you can do it!! Now start doing it and quit your belly achin! Really you can do it, change up your routine…

Run as fast as you can go the wagon and get back on!! Find a running club to join, or someone to run with to motivate you to keep getting out there. It's ok to fall off once in a while, and now you realized it just get back on.
-
Best thing to do is smile and be happy with yourself, you look great! Someday you will motivate someone without even trying by setting a healthy example. :flowerforyou:

can you catch a ride into work and then run or bike ride home? You are burning more calories when you work up a sweat! You can break up your sweat time, 15 minutes before your morning shower, 15 minutes in the evening.

going for a run instead of turning to food would have been a better choice. You wouldn't believe how a good run can clear your head and help you get things in perspective! You can't control what he does only what you do! Believe me i've been there done that! Chalk this up to a bad choice and make a better one next time,…

 better to do it now, it gets harder at 40 let me tell ya! Wine calories sometimes gets me too, i have switched to vanilla vodka & diet coke. :drinker: Aerobic excercise like running really helps you to drop the pounds more quickly along with watching your calorie intake.

You will love this site, great tools, great people!! Why wait until tomorrow, start logging your food now! Welcome to MFP! :flowerforyou:  :flowerforyou:

You will be amazed at how helpful it is! I really was off on some of my calorie guesses on some foods and how much i was putting into my mouth all day. It is all there in black and white now. Love logging food, it helps me to know how many calories I have left for the day. I log usually 2-3 times/day.

I am having my mother and mil over for brunch tomorrow, invited my brothers as well, hubby has to work(and it's his birthday) so I am alone on the cooking. We are having breakfast casserole, fruit, and banana chocolate muffings. Was thinking of having yogurt to make yogurt parfaits with the fruit. Here is the breakfast…

I got in all my water yesterday! Now to work on my cardio today, plans changed not doing the 5m race due to my Frozen Shoulder aching in the early morning, backup plan was to go with a group on a 2 hour bike ride but it is extrememly windy here so skipping that may go later if the wind dies down, may have to go to our…

Good Advice! Not sure if you will have hills or if you have difficulties running up hills but my advice is if you need to walk UP the hill so you can run down. I've seen alot of people push so hard going up the hill and then have to walk down, do this in training but not in a race it's faster to run down the hill. Have…
