2003 Toyota Corolla, 205,000 miles and never a problem, with exception of having to replace a dual catalyic (?) converter...my fault, hit a berm and broke it up...spendy fix, but other than that it's always run extremely well and I put over 600 miles a week on it on average (commuter here).

I'm ditto on here with those who referred to people who excitedly ask " how did you lose so much?". They are expecting some "light bulb" moment/answer I guess...it was eat fewer calories and increase exercise...you can see the "light" go off and the disappointed look when I say that! I've even had people roll their eyes…

String cheese (about 80 cal a pc) might be a good option to boost your intake of calories. Also I have slept in on occassions too and I just eat my breakfast WITH my lunch. Good luck, you don't want to screw up your metabolism doing a 1000 cal a day, soon your body will think that's "too much" and then you'll really be in…

Completely sabotaging my daily exercise goal! Now I actually limit myself to an hour a day of whatever…

I never eat back any of my exercise calories, it's like I'm putting money into savings instead of checking...less likely to "spend" it if I put it in savings and the "interest" is paid in weight loss. The post on here about planning is an excellent comment, I plan my food for the entire week, shop by it and "live by" it…

Not even close to your age, more like your grandmother's age, but I was 311 and thanks to this site and my fitbit I have gone down to 164 with a goal of 142 (it's taken a bit over a year and half). Stick to "real foods", no fads. I do a weekly average of 1200-1300 cal a day,i.e, Thanksgiving I had about 1600 calories, but…
