  • I have had two c-sections myself and only gained about 30lbs with each pregnancy. I also have the very attractive flappy thing. I think some of my flappy thing is from the internal scar tissue from the surgery. I asked my OB how to get rid of the flap and it seems a tummy tuck is the only way. Some abdominal exercises and…
  • I think 135 is great. I would split it right down the middle too.
  • How about a pedometer?
  • Hi, my name is Colleen and I am 28 years old. I work full-time and am a mother of 2 girls. I have always been chunky, but after having my second baby 2 years ago it has been super hard for me to take off the weight. The weekends are the worst time for me. We do lots of fun activities and I am home more so it is easy to…
  • I would focus on diet more than exercise right now. Work on the things you can control and don't worry so much about what you can't control. You can unofficially build in extra exercise in your day, such as parking further away at the store, taking the stairs instead of an elevator, and maybe walking during your lunch…
  • It's nothing for me to eat a half or more of a bag of lettuce when I make a salad. Most of embarrassing food habits were before I started changing my lifestyle.
  • EVERYTHING....I just love food. I love desserts, chocolate, chips, cheese. All the wrong stuff!
  • I don't really know anything about your situation, but maybe you should look into some programs that will aid you financially. WIC is a wonderful program that helps provide food for new mother and formula for babies. There are other programs as well depending on what state you live in. I work in Social Services and I would…
  • There is a huge difference. You look awesome!
  • I am about the same weight as you. I am 28 and I am looking to be at a healthier weight as soon as possible. I am in!
  • Usually when you have an IV of fluids you will gain weight. It's probably water and will clear out in a couple of days. Focus on your recovery.
  • Start slow and work your way up to where you want/need to be. I constantly have to remind myself that I am still building and am not going to be able to run a mile overnight.
  • a small portion of cranberry chicken left over from last night's dinner, the smallest banana I have ever seen, and a bottle of water. I also had a teaspoon of mashed potatoes....couldn't resist.
  • I will be in the bathroom all day, but count me in! I really need to flush my system good. Already to 16oz for the day.
  • I haven't had a soda since I got pregnant with my first child 6 years ago. I find that now I don't even miss it.
  • Both give you a cardio workout, but I find usually people prefer one or the other. I definately prefer the Elliptical. I find the time passes much more quickly because I enjoy it and I usually burn more calories than on the treadmill. I would try out the elliptical first and then decide later if you need to buy a treadmill.
  • I am just like you...I always try to lose weight for special occasions. It's hard for me to stay on target when I don't have a specific reason too. Right now I am trying to lose 7lbs. before my husband's birthday in 3 weeks. It may or may not happen, but if it wasn't his birthday I wouldn't be trying so hard.
  • It's not about when you had intercourse that you should go off of. You should ovulate 14 days after the first day of your period. If your period is irratic it may be slightly different (14 days based on a 28 day cycle). You can get pregnant the couple of days surrounding your ovulation day. You can get some early detection…
  • You look fantastic. Good luck to you!
  • I am doing both cardio and weight training. I am exercising 5-6 days a week, but trying to take it a little slow because of my recent foot injury. I don't eat after 7pm if I can help it and I go to bed between 9:30 and 10pm.
  • For my husband's birthday, I have decided to get him a tattoo (memorial for his father who passed away when he was 6) and I think he will really love it cause he has wanted it for so long. I know some people aren't into tattoos, but maybe think of something that is more permanent. Something that he can keep with him for…
  • I have a hard time believing that my husband thinks I am beautiful too. The more he keeps saying it the easier it becomes to believe. Congratulations with all of your success so far.
  • Congratulations!!! It took me about 15months to lose my pre-babies weight. I never got back to my pre-baby weight from the first child, so it took me longer to lose it with the second. Now I am going for pre-wedding weight!
  • I agree that the better you eat the better your skin looks, but only to a certain point. Some acne problems are hereditary. I went to see a dermatologist for my skin because I was so concerned about it. We talked about all possibilities, but really what was causing my acne problems was bateria under the skin. It doesn't…

  • So when you are zigzagging do you use your mfp alloted calories? I get 1380, but that is with a 500 calorie deficit built in. If I decrease my 1380 by 500 calories, I would get 830 and I don't think that can be healthy. I wouldn't make it through the day without passing out.
  • I have a similar recipe by Weight Watchers and it is to die for!
  • I saw your pictures and you are beautiful. I don't particularly think your shoulders look broad. We have what God gave us and I think we just have to rock it out with what we've got. I know that I have a little broader shoulders too (among other problems) and I have found that some clothing choices can minimize the…
  • I think some of the girls had self-esteem issues, but from what I watched of it (and I didn't watch the whole thing) I thought it was good that they are acknowledging plus sized woman. It is disturbing to me that everyone on tv is at least a size 4 because it's not realistic. I could be a size 4 too if I had a…
  • 1. WHAT I WEAR TO THE GYM: t-shirt and athletic pants 2. MY FAVORITE EXERCISE IN THE MORNING: elliptical 3. MY FAVORITE HEALTHY MEAL: grilled chicken wrap 4. MY MAKE ME FEEL SEXY ROUTINE: shave, lotion, make-up, straightening the hair, jewlery 5: MY HOTTIE OUTFIT FOR FRIDAY NIGHT!: denim skirt and fitted shirt with strappy…
  • I don't have sleep apnea, but my father and brother-in-law both do. Both of their doctors told them that they needed to lose weight and that it would help improve their sleeping condition. I don't know that it would completely eliminate it, but it will probably help. My husband is a terrible snorer, but doesn't have sleep…
