  • Great information and a good reminder!
  • I love the elliptical. I am a cardio junky. You can definately burn a lot of calories that way.

  • OMG you look crazy amazing!!!!!! You are such an inspiration to all the people on MFP.
  • I managed a pizza shop for several years and I can tell you for sure that there are fewer calories in a thin crust in comparison to hand tossed or pan style. Garlic butter and alfredo type sauces have way more calories than the typcial red/tomato-based pizza sauce. You can ask them to do light cheese on the pizza (usually…
  • I put zuchinni and squash in stir-fry all the time. It's really yummy.

  • You look absolutely amazing! Congratulations on your success.
  • I am looking forward to.... being able to wear outfits and actually feel sexy in them. not trying to cover everything that I don't like. being able to wear a swimsuit and be proud. truely being healthy and fit. not being the fat friend.
  • I had my appendectomy a little less than a year ago. My doctor said I had to wait four weeks to start exercising again. I think you should just follow your doctor's instructions.
  • Awesome! You look great.
  • I have always wanted to try cycling, but I am afraid of gaining weight instead of tricking my metabolism. I was thinking of cycling 1200 and 1600 cals every other day. That would still equal to what MFP recommends when added up for all 7 days of the week. Any advice?
  • I always preplan my dinner and then base my breakfast and lunch off of that!
  • They offer Zumba at the Y near my house. I love that class!

  • Grilled chicken breast marinated in fat-free italian dressing with a side of zuchinni and yellow squash. I will probably make baked french fries for my kids, but I don't usually eat them.
  • You look gorgeous in your wedding dresss! So you fell off for one day. Recommit and start new. Today is a fresh day. In the scheme of things, one day isn't so bad. It's the repeated days that add up.
  • I like the brown! Good luck on your journey.
  • I think the pool might be a good alternative. I have to do some whirlpool therapy for my foot. So obvious the water exercise wouldn't be too much strain.
  • You really have to back off caffiene slowly in order to avoid the headaches. Try weening yourself instead of quiting cold turkey.
  • How about some circuit training? You could incorporate some intense with some low impact and strength training.
  • Wow! That is an amazing accomplishment. Congratulations!
  • At this point I am only eating 50% of my earned exercise calories. When I was eating all of my exercise calories I stopped losing weight. I wasn't able to renew my gym membership, so at this point, I am just trying to use the 30 day shred to stay committed to daily exercise and to hopefully tone up a little.
  • Thanks for the information! I am going to try making some changes to my routine and see if shocks my metabolism into shape.
  • I thought I would borrow it from the library just to read about it. I don't know if it is worth anything, but I have been at a plateau for four weeks now. I thought it might budge the scale.
  • I have the same problem. I try to eat in air conditioning!
  • According to everything I have read, weighing yourself in the morning is the most accurate.
  • I struggle with the same thing. Down 2 up 1, down 2 up 3. I feel like I am consistently weighing in within the same 2lb. range. I keep changing up my routine and stick to the food plan. I am hoping that eventually it will pay off.
  • Thanks for the information. I have been wanting to get that video. Everyone says they get great results!
  • excellent advice! I have hit a plateau right now so this really hits home for me.
  • It looks like you recently joined. I would give it time. I went through the same thing. I lost 11lbs. on my own and then joined and have only lost 2lbs. since. I am sticking to it. Although I don't see great results on the scale, I have lost inches, my clothes fit better and I know that I am more tone than I was 8 weeks…
  • I am experiencing the same problem. I have been stuck at the same weight within two pounds for a few weeks now. I just try to keep my body guessing and change it up as much as possible. I try to do a different workout everyday.
