Hi! I'm 31 and need to lose 150lbs - would love some accountability partners. I've gotten stuck in this horrible cycle of losing a little weight and gaining more and need to break out of it!

Mashed butternut squash is good. You can actually just cut in half, roast it and then scoop out the insides once it's soft. Add some milk or almond milk, some cinnamon and maybe a little sugar if you want and just mash it up. It's good!

That's so exciting! Meeting goals is the best!

i'm 28 and log every day. Have over 100lbs to lose. Please feel free to add me!

That's a good idea, I have on of those small exercise trampolines. Thanks!

Yep, just started on Monday and I weighed in on Monday at 265. The hardest part for me i'm finding is the jumping jacks on my knees. Otherwise it's totally doable.

Bump, anyone looking for a new friend?

Awesome job! I can't see your pictures though. . .
-
Great job! So sorry for your loss. :(

Unfortunately still do. Lost 35 lbs and have slowly gained back 10 over the last 6 weeks. Ugh. Don't know why whenever I make positive progress I do this to myself. Trying to turn it back around now.

Nobody is saying that if you're anorexic and starve yourself, you won't lose weight. Of course you will. But it will affect your metabolism and slow it down. We're talking about the ideal range of calories to lose the most weight.

I think Weight Watchers would be good! Give you a chance to get away from their packaged foods and get some more variety in your diet. Good luck!
-
I think a major misconception with all diets is what happens when you get to your goal weight. No matter if you do Atkins, South Beach, count calories, what have you, most people get to a point where they think, "I'm done! Look at me, I lost all the weight!" And then old habits of eating unhealthy, processed foods starts…

Hi I'm new here too. I have 3 kids and have over 100 lbs still to lose. Would love to be your friend! I'll request you!
-
I don't know if you can do this, but I have 3 young kids as well. I get up at 5 and go to gym before they get up, my husband is at home but they're all asleep. Not sure if it's a possibility for you but it works for me!

I always have almonds on hand to snack on or cut up and add to yogurt. They're pretty high in calories by weight but super good for you.
-
Hi, I just joined as well! I'd love some supportive friends. I'm also in this for the long haul, over 100 lbs still to lose.
-
Thanks everyone! I haven't been eating back the calories I burn for the most part, just because I'm not hungry. But sounds like the common advice is to get a heart rate monitor. Think I'll look into that. Again, thanks for the input!

I know for me, before I started tracking things, I would eat a lot of extra calories just eating a bite or two of things here and there. And also, drinking water seems to help too. The more you drink, the better. Keep at it though, if you keep exercising every day and watching your calories, it will come off! Good luck!

Hi! Married mom to 3 here, I need to lose 115 lbs still. Grrr, that sounds horrible. Anyway, would love to be a friend! Jenny
