I weigh before cooking. Its scary to see how much cereal you think 30g is until you weight it it's hardly anything! I tend to grate things like cheddar as it goes further

I tried to give up for a month.. I lasted a week.. But I did cut down an awful lot for a month but didn't lose a single pound so I'm just going back to not drinking on a 'school' night.. And try to drink then white it's better for you (apparently - that's my excuse anyway lol)

There was an article in one of my trashy mags about 6 women who had gastric bands out of al of them, 5 years on only one was a healthy weight.. becuase they gave them the bands and that was it.. no mention of how to eat healthy, what is a portion etc etc so they went back to their old bad habits of eating and gained all…

But you want to change.. People who are really overweight who have no desire to change.. this is what i ponder.. But just o add i am glad you are happy and positive i am not saying all overweight people should be depressed i just don't understand why they don't have a desire to be healthy and fit like we do on MFP.. also…

it's hard sitting behind a desk all day i used to up until 18 months ago no i sit behind my desk 60% of the time.. the other 40% is crawling under desks and carrying equipment.. good for you! You can do this!

me neither.. I just don't get how we allow ourselves to get big.. and yes i've been there.. and i'm never going back but i used to be huuuge and i don't know when that happened.. it appeared to happen overnight when really it was probably a year of alcohol and overindulgence

Yes you are right.. only god knows what you go through.. Its funny as i don't judge people on MFP but i find myself judging people i see on TV maybe as i don't interact with them.. i don't know their story???
