For me, my lungs don't like anything below about 15 F (mean)...about 0 F (Wind Chill). The rest of me is okay with it, but if its colder than that, I'm coughing for a good 2 hours after I'm done. Also, my core temp drops so badly after I'm done, that I have to take a HOT shower and bundle up under mounds of blankets just…

I love this idea! I hope you don't mind my joining! So here is my first entry: Jan. 7, 2015: Just for Today I will.... 1. Log every morsel I put in my mouth. 2. Drink 100 oz of water 3. Do a combination of ab and oblique work to equal 100

Gotta agree with Grease 2....it's like a rain wreck you can't turn away from. My favorite scene/ song is "Reproduction"...."See what happens when a boy and a girl don't know how to play it safe!" But I also have to add in Hudson Hawk. Ridiculously cheesy but hey....Bruce Willis!

I loved everything this man did. Rarely does a celebrity death bother me, but his is bringing me to tears!! This three best (in my opinion)... - Dead Poets Society - Good Morning Vietnam - Patch Adams

I weigh once a week, but can record monthly here. Either way works for me!! So 8/1/14: 223.5

Hello. I'm Erin. 37 years old, married for almost 12 years, and mother to 2 amazing kids (8 and 5). I'm a technical writer by trade and live in Green Bay, WI. I've been on the weight loss thing pretty much my entire life. Was at 159 when I got married (lowest ever as an adult) in 2002. Got up to about 197 by 2005…

I'm a pretty neutral runner (I gait starts on the outside of my heel and goes to the ball of my foot) and I love the Saucony Guides. Right now I have 6s but I haven't looked at the 7s yet to see how they differ. I tried Nikes and Muzuno and always went back to Saucony.

My husband and I aren't friends on FB either. Its our way of preserving a little bit of privacy outside of the home with each other. We also don't share an email account and neither of us has access to the other one's. We always said when we got married that we have 3 lives. Mine, His, and Ours. For the most part its Ours,…

Yep...we have 2 kids (8 and 5). I usually get up to workout around 5 am while my husband is still home to be with the kids. And he works out at night. But if I end up working out at night, he hits the treadmill in the basement and I run outside.

Well if you're willing to go back to Cancun, I highly suggest the Sun Palace. It's a Couples/Adults only resort that puts a high focus on pampered relaxation. It's smaller, so you get more personalized attention. It's also on the bottom of the "hotel zone" so out of the hustle of down town, but also a short 5 minute bus…

In all honesty I don't like it. I struggle the entire time, every time I go out. However, I like what it does for my legs/butt. And the fact that it gives me more calories so that I can have ice cream at the end of the day. There are other exercises that'll give me more calories, but none of them do what running does for…

My cat, yes. Husband doesn't like it but has gotten used to it. Besides, I had her before I got him, so..... I've never allowed dogs to sleep on our bed though. Different story while camping, however...

We have pretty much replaced all our sour cream with plain greek yogurt. There's so much more tanginess and richness to it. Not to mention a ton more protein!

I eat the Chobani Pineapple and add 3/4 cup of Kashi Go Lean Crunch. Holds me over almost all morning!

1.) What is your preference: pavement, trails or treadmill? Why? 2.) Favorite Season for running? Why? My answers 1.)Pavement. I struggle enough running, I don't need to be trying to dodge uneven ground! Plus I have ankle issues and uneven ground would not be good! 2.) Pretty much anytime it's in the 40s-50s range and…

Agreed. We did The Color Run last year and honestly I wasn't that impressed with it. I'd much rather do our local races and fun runs where I know my entry fee will go to a good cause.

I hope there's still room!! If So, I would love Griffyndor! But I'll take anything that's open!!

Most awkward: I was bartending and turned around to put money into the register and heard "Damn girl! I ain't never seen a butt like that on a white girl before!" (Said by a Native American "gentleman") Umm....Thanks??

This might just be what I need to get my butt in gear! Count me in!!!

Personally I'm not really sure how this is even a question...the whole reason I exercise is so that I can eat more!!

Do they come out soft like the commercial tortillas or are they crispy coming out of the pan?

Honestly....kids will not starve themselves. When my kids (ages 8 and 5) ask for junk and swear they're wasting away, I tell them they can have yogurt, fruit, veggies, cheese, etc. If they turn those down I tell them that obviously they aren't as hungry as they think. I also make sure they drink lots of water, as thirst…

I make a blueberry muffin for my husband that he loves and requests quite frequently. It's more of a scone consistency but in a muffin form. 2 cups sifted self raising flour 1/4 cup brown sugar 1 cup frozen blueberries 2 eggs 2/3 cup unsweetened apple sauce 1/4 cup skim milk Mix sugar, milk, eggs and apple sauce together -…

Hello fellow Tall Girls! :) Height: 5'9" SW: 220 CW: 212 GW: 175 I'm currently on medication that I've gained about 8 lbs on....so it's definitely not helping with the whole "getting into shape" thing. However, I've learned that how my clothes fit is more important to me than what the number on the scale says. I've…

Feel free to add me as well! I'm also in WI (the NE part), and doing it for yourself is the ONLY reason you should do it!!

I have screws and a plate in my ankle from breaking both leg bones about 8 years ago. Generally they don't bother me, but by the end of walking all day, I definitely feel it. I have a pair of old Saucony runners (2 years old) that I can wear, I just wasn't sure if they'd be supportive enough for me to wear for that long,…
