Keep moving and keep motivated... the two go hand in hand. I surround myself with positive people and in return am more of a positive person. Feel free to add me too... glad to help!

I liked that story... you have a great attitude!

I love mine! I get so many questions from people that are over asking what they are. I got mine with the really cool stand so it takes very little space. The price you pay is nothing compared to getting ALL those dumbbell sets say 5lbs up to 55lbs. As mentioned you do have to be a little gentle with them, they are not made…

Very interesting read. I totally agree with the power the mind has over us in regards to health.

I am not great cook but I am going to try this!!!!!!!!

I sent you a request too. Good Luck Bro!

You really can't go wrong with either one! I have them both and they are the best investments I have made. I started with P90X, did a few full rounds and then did Insanity. Both will break you down and build you back up stronger!! Good luck with your program.

Keep at it. I read this somewhere and it was true for me that you will see the most results the last few weeks. You have to push yourself with these workouts to get the most out of it. Like I mentioned before it breaks you down and builds you back up. Look at the warm ups... the first time I did it I thought... This is the…

Wow I wish I knew of this site when I was doing Insanity. I finished my first round this spring with some great results. Crazy tough this program is... it breaks you down but builds you up better and stronger. I wish you all well... great results are on there way!!!

For me usually pushing on and exercising even when really sore actually helps to loosen up the muscles and start to feel better through out that exercise routine. I then would usually soak in a hot bath, I find this really good especially on my leg muscles.

Thanks I will check out the site!

Hi there, I doing that too. Came down from 225lbs to 200lbs, 14.5% bf down to around 9% and now I want to gain about 10lbs of muscle and hit around 210lbs while keeping my b/f% down. Send me a friend request - Knowledge is Power!!

Give it more time too. 3-4 days is still just the beginning. Are you enjoying it, looking forward to your workout? Maybe it's a mind thought too? Try to keep up your excitement and see how your body feels after say two weeks? Keep smiling!!

Even with doing P90X or Insanity I switch the scheduled days around so I am working out on sat and sunday. This way I have two days where I can be more flexible with my workout times and take Wednesday off as a rest day. It is a welcomed break during a busy work week and kids too!

What about: I'm in the BEST shape of MY LIFE thanks to ME and MFP!
-
I have replaced Yoga with Cardio X but never Plyometrics. Remember it is the X in P90X. I will burn more calories doing that workout over any others. Just be glad you only do it once and a while... Insanity has you doing it everyday!! I agree with the others though, do what you can, pause when needed and don't look at the…

Roasted pumpkin seeds and very high in protein, more then any nuts. They are high in fat but that is a good fat. a 1/4 cup of seeds have 18 g of protein!! and 23 g of fat.

I'm will be 42 next month and am in the best shape of my life. It all started with my first round of the P90X program and I was hooked. It changed my life. Not that I was over weight but more out of shape. Since the beginning of this year I have dropped almost 25 lbs thanks to P90X and Insanity and healthy healthy eating.…

Welcome. I have done P90X a few times now and am now on P90X2. Always happy to talk with fellow Xers. Send me a request. Paul
-
Thanks... I will give them a try.
-
I have heard of it and looked into it, it does look really good. I have done Insanity so I would be curious to see how it compares. Maybe I will give it a try in the future? Good luck with it, I hope you get great results!!
-
Not that I always get to watch football on Sunday but sometimes I have done my P90X program on my big screen while splitting the screen so I have the game on on mute while watching and doing my P990X. Multitasking at it's finest!!!
-
I am on here daily too. Just sent you a request.
-
Thanks so much for this.... will try for sure.

This is true it's not for beginners nor is it easy but there is another program by Tony Horton called 10 minute trainer. My wife has it and really likes it. Look into it, it might be what you need to start with.

This is so true. One of the biggest hurdles is first changing the way your mind thinks... set out a plan for yourself and then commit to it.

Only one thing I can think of that is a brand must for me ... Tim Horton's Coffee

I was at around 15% last year but with a round of Insanity ( = a lot of sweat!!) and really watching what I eat I got down just under 10% recently.

Hi there, Insanity is by far the hardest program I think out there. I lost close to 20 lbs doing it but nutrition is so important. I do a fat shredder nutrition plan ( high protein diet ) 50% of my daily calories is protein, 30% is carbs and 20% is fat. Send me a friend request if you like, my food diary might give you…
