it seems to be working out for me but im very curious to know- why not???? i have heard that some people gain weight by building muscle and something about the water being to cold and your body trying harder to reach a certain temp, mixed with over eating? knowing these factors and controlling them should help, no?

every workout in my life has felt that way until i started swimming. i love the water and doesnt feel like a workout anymore. My advice.... try swimming :happy:

ok, that makes sense. i do believe im not eating enough. I am swimming for an hour 5 days a week and burning 700-800 calories a day. but i was put on a 1200 calorie diet. i have never eaten 2000 calories in one day (well not since i started this diet) haha. i weight 233 and i eat 1300-1400 calories a day. sometimes more when i exercise. i saw a nutritionist yesterday and she said i was doing everything right and NOT to eat back all of your exercise calories. she also said that if your body needs 2000 calories a day to maintain your current weight then you should eat 500 less…

i love perdue perfect potions! they are pre seasoned and i eat them everyday(broiled), i never get bored! however, when i want something different, say tuna, ill look up low fat tuna recipes and find something that sounds good to me. you can do that with any food your in the mood for.
