  • Blonde= financial security. :P Well my husband obviously likes brunettes, but I think he might secretly prefer redheads. He doesn't shut up about Kari when we watch Mythbusters.
  • Everybody needs a bosom for a pillow. :P
  • A simple response to that e-mail... "How is that my problem? You need to discuss that with your neighbor." The end.... Mondays are bad enough even when you're in a good mood. I hope your day gets better.
  • I had random pain in my rib a few weeks ago. It hurt to laugh, cough, sneeze. I hadn't even worked out the day before or anything. I had no idea what it was from, but it hurt like hell. I took it easy for a few days until most of the pain was gone. It took about a week. You don't want to work that particular muscle if you…

  • OMG!! Funniest thing I've read all day! Sounds like something Paula Dean would cook up.
  • Those gorgeous people have cellulite.... They just airbrush it out. :P
  • I don't mind the compliments. It took me a long time to lose those 20 pounds. I worked hard and will gladly accept any compliments that come my way. If someone asked specifically how much I lost, I'd tell them. I'd give them my whole story if they want it. I'm an open and honest person. If you ask a specific question,…
  • I get alot of "You look great!" or "You're getting skinny!" Most people don't ask how much I've lost. I just say thanks. At first I got more of "Are you losing weight?" To that, I never get specific. I'll usually just say "Yeah a few pounds. Thanks for noticing." Or fein shock. My husband's aunt will say "You get skinnier…
  • Yup! The only plastic part is the trasmitter that snaps onto the strap.

  • I think most of the newer Polar ones are fabric strap with a detachable transmitter. I was so excited when I got my new HRM and it was the fabric strap. I have an FT4 and love it.

  • Resist boredom eating! I get that feeling sometimes. My job isn't very demanding and sometimes I think "Gee! I want a snack." However, I'm not actually hungry. I'm just bored. Usually a glass of water and a piece of gum will take care of that urge.
  • I try to log before hand to avoid logging at the table. I'll log while I'm making dinner. Something go into the pan. Then, something gets logged on MFP. My gets annoyed because it seems to him that I'm always on my phone. It's just that he wants my undivided attention. I will say that it took a while for my him to get used…
  • Love those! Also, Hershey has little 100 cal candy bars. I found them yesterday down the candy aisle. I got the Reese's one. Taste's just like a Reese's Peanut butter cup without all the fat and calories. Ghiardelli's Twilight Delight is my favorite! However, I can easily consume the whole bar without thinking about so I…
  • I got married so I could have one day in my life that was all about me! :P Kidding! I married my college sweetheart. We started dating when I was 19. We were together 7 years before we got married. We wanted to wait until we were done college to get engaged. We've been happily married for 4 years. He probably would've…
  • You're not the only woman who loves her own cleavage. None of my girlfriends have cleavage so I've learned to appreciate my own. Also, I love that I have dimples when I smile.
  • I moved from Jersey to Chester County, PA. I live in the West Chester area, which has a great school district. Valley Forge Park is close by and has a great loop for walking or biking. There's a ton of great shopping and great restaurants around. So, you don't have to go into the city if you don't want to. The King of…
  • I used to curse like that everyday... Then, I got a new job that doesn't make me angry so I'm losing my touch. :P I actually had a person accept my friend request and sent me a message that she deletes people that swear. I usually save that stuff for Facebook so my mom can "yell" at me. LOL!!
  • I have friends from high school that named their daughter Kaylex.... I've never heard that name before... If you want to talk starnge baby names, you should google "strange celebrity baby names." :P Apple... Rumor... Scout... Lets not forget about the Zappa family... Dweezil, and Moon Unit to name a few. I forget where I…
  • Most body fat calculations aren't very accurate. You'd have to go do the body pod or something like that to get a more accurate body fat estimate.
  • Everyone's body is different. There is no one right answer. I tried low-carb once and got migraines from it, but that's not to say that it wouldn't work for someone else. Stick to healthy fats, whole grains, and lean protein. Get your fruits and veggies. Just play with it and find what works for you.
  • A few things popped out at me. You're not getting nearly enough protein. Try eating some form of protein with every meal. There's also a lack of fruits and veggies. Try to get 5 servings a day. Salad with lunch is a great way to add veg and try having fruit as a snack. Also, I take it you like pizza. :P I noticed that you…

  • I'm currently doing Turbofire, and have done a few other BB programs. I think the BB supplements are overprice so, I don't spend the money for it. The R&R can be replaced with chocolate milk to get the recommended 4:1 carbs to protein ratio for your post workout snack. I only do that when I won't be eating a meal soon.
  • Me and you always seem to be making the same move. I've been thinking about switching to 1/2 lb a week too. I'm only 5 pounds from a "healthy" BMI and want to lose no more than 15 more pounds. I guess I should make the switch. However, even with my goal set at 1 pound a week, I still only lose 1/2 pound... So, I'm not sure…
  • BMI isn't the best to determine what is actually a healthy weight since it doesn't take into account body composition. However, someone who is skinny, has a small frame and doesn't have alot of lean muscle mass could weigh 98 pounds and still be considered "healthy."

  • 5 pounds in 4 weeks isn't too fast. I'd only be concerned if you were averaging over 2 pounds a week, which your not. You're just young and it's usually easier to lose weight when your youner. However, if you do want to lose the weight slower, try eating your exercise calories and see if that works for you.
  • The only thing is MFP is counting the calories from your fruits and veggies and WW isn't. That's what's giving you the points to calories discrepancy. I don't think comparing the 2 would be a good way to determine if you're eating enough. However, you could up your daily caloric intake. There's nothing wrong with…
  • If it's not my rest day, I'm working out. Well... Unless my body is telling me not to. However, it just seems like your head is saying "Ugh! I don't feel like trying to find food to eat to meet my net." I usually eat nuts or some natural peanut butter when I have a bunch of calories left and am not feeling very hungry. My…
  • Beans and greek yogurt are good sources of protein.
  • Had one when I was in the 7th grade. I don't really remember exactly how big the gap was. Smaller than the diameter of a normal sized straw. However, I think it depends on how much wider they're trying to make your mouth.
  • I just deal with it as well. It's usually heavy for the first two days and then it's really light for the next 3. Like "barely there" light. I don't mind it much. Better than regular flowing for 5 days in my opinion. I know that all I need to do is put up with 2 days of being uncomfortable. For those two nights, I do take…
