I've tried the CL Pure. I prefer it over regular CL. They tricked me though. One packet is 2 servings. If you dump the whole thing into a 20 oz bottle of water, it's 30 calories....

I do weigh myself, but don't let the number bother me. I usually weigh 2-3 pounds more during that week.

That's about right. It's like Turbo Jam on speed. One thing she does with Turbo Fire that she didn't with Turbo Jam was include stretching DVD's. The music is awesome. It's not superficial background noise. All the moves go with the beat of the music. Like all the beachbody programs, it's a full workout program with cardio…

Thanks for the love! It can be a struggle. One of the big reasons I workout is so I can eat more.
-
That'll make a difference. When you start toning up, you'll see a difference. Take pictures though so you can really see the difference.

Alot of people will disagree with this, but this is what I do when I have a special occasion to go to. I try not to go completely nuts, but don't really worry about it. I don't do it often so it doesn't really hinder my weight loss much.

My husband is like that. 6' and maybe 140 pounds... My husband never told me I needed to lose weight. The only reason he had a problem with my weight gain was because it made me self conscious, but he didn't tell me that until after I started losing weight. I don't think you need to tell someone you love that they need to…

I try not to eat after 8 pm. I get heart burn if I eat too close to bed time. If I get hungry after, I'll have a cup of herbal tea and that usually does the trick.

Turned 30 this past April. I'm married to my college sweetheart. No kids... yet... if ever. I started Turbo Fire last week. This is attempt # 3 at TF. 3rd time's the charm right? I was to lose about 10-15 more pounds. Feel free to add me!

We need a support group! I'd do so much better if my husband didn't bring the tempting food into the house. For me... Anything chocolate... I used to crave it after every meal. I don't crave it as much at the moment because I don't keep it available for me to eat whenever the craving strikes.
-
My sister used to be a BB coach and gave me a packet of the chocolate flavor. It was soooo good!! It's very filling and I had a hard time finishing it when I made it with skim milk.... I'm not sure I could validate that expense with my husband so I don't buy it. Therefore, I don't have any input on the effects of long term…

Like the others, I create my own exercise and log the calories burned that comes from my HRM. I'd invest in a HRM if you can afford one. I have a tendancy to push myself a little too hard. so, it's a good guide for me. I can check it and it tells me if I can push a little harder or need to back down the intensity a little.

I used to wear Nike in high school. I never thought that they might have caused my shin splints. I was in marching band and wore them while running around the football field 4 nights a week. I used to wear New Balance runners for all my cardio because they we lighter than NB's crosstrainers. I found NB's crosstrainers to…

I agree start slow. Make small changes and build on them. Also, don't make it stressful. Alot of times people stress too much over little slips and trips. Don't be too hard on yourself. We all succumb to temptation. It's what you do after it that determines your success. When it comes to exercise, find something you like…

This happens to me. That's why I don't eat too much before I workout. I have a snack around 4pm and then workout at 6. On the weekends, I workout before breakfast. The workout just won't happen if I don't do it first thing. I find that my performance is better in the morning on an empty stomach. I workout at home, but if I…

You stopped at one cookie? Good for you! Last week I ate 4 chocolate chip cookies. 2 before my workout and 2 after.... No biggie! Don't stress yourself out over it. Just keeping moving forward.

The women that look like they're on steroids probably are. Women usually don't have enough testosterone in their body to build muscle like that naturally. Lift heavy!

I tried this for a couple weeks years ago... I wasn't a fan. The diet is kind of restrictive. It's not an eat less and eat healthier. It's more this is your body type, and here is what we say you should eat.
-
Same here... However, I do find that I get hungry around the same times everyday, but nothing is set in stone. I have everything I need to eat on hand at work, and I just eat when I'm hungry.
-
Honestly, it depends on your body. Some people need to eat them to lose weight. Some people don't. You just need to experiment with it until you find out what works for you. Personally, I usually eat them because I'm hungrier on the days that I workout.
-
I still WI and record it. I make a note that it was TOM and move on. I know the following week will show a loss... If I don't over indulge during my TOM.

You were consuming processed foods and alcohol. Those couple pounds are most likely water retention. Drink plenty of water to flush out your system. You're weight should go back down in a few days.
-
A few things. In the morning, it usually a piece of fruit and a handful of nuts. I'm more hungry in the time between lunch and dinner. So, I'll eat some greek yogurt. It has lots of protein and will keep me full until dinner.
-
Well said! I totally agree! Working junk into the WW program isn't any worse than working junk into your calorie budget. It's all about how people use the tools.
-
You should be taking a full rest day once a week to let your body recover. If you don't, you run the risk of buring out. Always listen to your body. If it's telling you to rest, then rest.
-
^ I agree with this. When I have a migraine, the last thing I think about is how many calories I'm consuming. Just get some rest and take care of yourself. It's just one day. I wouldn't worry about it.
-
I usually plan my lunch and snacks after/ during breakfast. I don't take the time to track dinner in advance. Usually when I plan something for dinner, my husband has other ideas. I'd rather not track before since there's the potential of having to delete it all and retrack.

It's always time to shop! :P If you want to buy new jeans, only buy a couple pairs. Since you're still in weight loss mode, I wouldn't spend alot of money on them. You might want to find a Marshall's or TJ Maxx near you to get some new jeans pretty cheap.

When you do strength training, your body holds onto fluid to repair your muscles. You body could just be adjusting to the new workout routine. Once your body adjusts, you should see the scale go down. It could take a few weeks though. Just be patient.

I think you made a great decision for yourself. I've been thinking about increasing my goal weight as well. Then, when I get there, I'd want to start focusing more on fitness and let my weight go where ever is natural.
