  • What does bump mean? I see that a lot in forums but never got the meaning.
  • It's not that big of a deal really. Just go a little harder with your workouts and maybe add an extra 5-10 minutes as well. You'll be as good as new
  • It would depend on your diet, if you're doing things right nutritionwise then you're doing good. You are obviously not starving yourself. Keep it up.
  • I did door-to-door sales selling cable to customers for close to two years. I walked through ghetto neighborhoods and was chased at by dogs, angry residents carrying guns and knives and was once almost arrested for "disturbing the peace." I walked in temperatures ranging from 30 to 100+ degree temperatures for 8-10 hours a…
  • Already headed there with my business. But when I do, I'd take a nice vacation and pay for my wife's mommy takeover, set a lot aside for my daughter's education and save the rest for retirement.
  • Hi there, I'll be sending you a friend request with a detailed message.
  • Hi there, I sent you a friend request along with a message : )
  • Sending a friend request along with a quick msg.
  • Lol, my wife says she can tell when I'm in the zone, she says I have an F/U face. But it's obvious these immature girls have not and may not leave their high school mentality. If I was in your shoes (and this is just me) I would sit my happy butt right in between and really give them something to complain about, but again…
  • OH I meant to tell you, the EAS Myoplex shakes from Sam's have 42 grams of protein per shake.
  • Like someone told you, you get what you paid for. You should read the nutrition label and the carbs and fats should be very low compared to the protein. I like whey powder from Cytosport, I can purchase a bag with 72 servings for $50 from Costco. There's also EAS Myoplex protein shakes from Sam's, $30 can get you 12. You…
  • My wife had the gastric bypass 5 years ago and lost 160 lbs. If you need help and motivation you can add me as a friend.
  • OOH...Jimmy Johns lettuce wraps! Get whatever sandwich you like, ask it to be wrapped in lettuce instead of bread. You can also get double meat. High in protein and low in carbs and fats!

  • Exercise will only give you about 20% of your results. Diet is key and the ultimate factor. If you follow the 50% protein 30% carbs and 20% fats plan then you'll be set to go. As mentioned before, you can't out do a bad diet. Just exercise at a comfortable level without over doing it and you'll see some great results. Good…
  • Hello, my wife had the gastric bypass herself, Roux en-Y to be exact. She fell through the same issues with weight fluctuations but lost a total of 160 pounds. She consumed high protein foods throughout the day and limited the carbs to just enough to keep from feeling sluggish. She also walked a lot and worked her way into…
  • I would switch the macros around, higher protein and lower carbs, just don't eliminate them since your body still needs carbs. But what are your ultimate goals? If you want you can friend me, I'd like to help you out.
  • You can add me as a friend as well, some people have compared me to an Army Drill Sergeant when it comes to "motivation." LOL!!!
  • Okay first, muscle DOES NOT weigh more than fat! It's just that it's more dense. Obviously a pound of muscle is smaller and more dense than a pound of fat. Second, the whole don't eat too little or your body goes into starvation mode and holds on to everything is a myth. Infact if you do the math, that type of thinking…
  • All it does is force your body to sweat more, nothing else. It has shown no appreciable difference in fat loss or metabolic changes. Diet is the key, infact it accounts for 80% of your success. Add me as a friend and I WILL help you figure something out for great results.
  • I'm in the med field, I travel A LOT for work and put in 14-16 hour days on average. Plus I'm a student, a father and a husband. I work out 25-30 minutes a day, and it has to be intense not easy. Let's be friends and I WILL help you out.
  • Look, it all depends on your diet. And contrary to what people say, MFP will help you get to your goals. If you want to drop fat and build and maintain muscle you first change your diet goals. I do 50% protein 30% carbs and 20% fats. You get a good healthy dose of protein to build some good muscle and low carbs to melt off…

  • You should sit down and have a talk with her about what kind of support she wants. Another great way of supporting her is joining her. You can help each other by researching different exercise and nutrition plans and see what best fits your individual needs. There's no one size fits all, and so it's important you plan out…
