This is your absolute best bet. I use the “Omron HBF-514â€. This scale uses six body sensors and measures your Weight, BMI, Body Fat Percentage, Skeletal Muscle Percentage, Resting Metabolism, Body Age, and Visceral Fat. I got it for $65 on Amazon a couple of months ago. Good luck on your journey!

I think the reason this cannot be categorized as cardio/exercise is because it does not elevate your heart rate to any sustained cardio target zone. If you ask your doctor, I’m pretty sure he will tell you the same thing. Good luck…

I got the Polar FT7 HRM the other day and it is a game changer. I paid full price but you can get it or the very slightly more basic FT4 for around $75 or less if you get it online. I would highly recommend getting the real thing. Good luck!

Yeah, I am intentionally walking at a VERY brisk pace specifically to elevate my heart rate. I hope to start mixing in a little jogging now that I can more accurately measure my heart rate and calories burned… Thanks for your reply!

This is exactly what I’m doing now. Daily cal limit is 1700 and I have been able to stay below that even without my daily cardio. Some days are better than others but managing. Thanks for the tips folks! All very useful advice… Really, really appreciate the time taken to respond. :flowerforyou:
