Thank you! I'm struggling with the same thing the past few days have been awful eating and no exercise and this morning all I want to do is give up until I read your post and it made me feel less useless and more "I can do this!". 5 pounds is awesome well done :)

Ok this may be totally crazy but is it possible to get some sort of alarm that goes off when you get up? Maybe a sensor on the door so if you open it an alarm rings and wakes you up? The 24 hour food delivery is a killer! I did solve this but only because we moved house and I can't seem to say the name of the street we live on (well I can say it but no one understands it!) so I couldn't call McDonald's or anything. Sorry no useful suggestions for the lunch thing :(

Maybe get someone to show you how at the gym. I know it sounds silly but the rowing machine is easier said than done and there's nothing worse than watching someone go super fast but not actually get anything out of it. I started not being able to run 1 block and can now do 10miles! I tried Ripped in 30 and loved it, I was a bit bored of the 30 day Shred after awhile. I also found Ripped harder! This is great! I've just started at around 1800-2000 instead of 1400 and so far I'm still the same weight but it's only been a week so I'll stick with it and see how it goes.

It is simple math you just got the math wrong at the start and ate nowhere near enough so it didn't result in the change you wanted. I workout mostly at home as well like others its a mix of Jillian Michaels and Turbo Fire dvds just recently I've also started running up and down the stairs (we live on the21st floor) but that'll only be helpful if your in an apartment building. I'd give an ergo/rowing machine a try they work everything if you use them properly. If you don't know how to use one get someone at the gym to show you.

This is going to sound a bit odd but maybe don't pick a number just decide when you get there. I had 140 as mine but I'm pretty happy at 150 so I think I'll see how the next few weeks go and decide from there, focus on how I look and feel rather than a number on the scale. Just an idea :)

Hi I've had this on and off for about a year as well, stretch your calves a lot! Get fitted with proper shoes. Surprisingly running more helped me, it was the opposite of what the doctor advised but it really did help. I guess because I stretched more or something.

Hehe I live in Beijing and see some amazing stuff at the gym, yesterday there was a women in heels and a tutu (think black swan) on the treadmill, I was told off once by the staff for using the weights as I'm a girl and shouldn't use them. So many more..
