the Primal Blueprint goes into far more detail than the 21 day transformation book - both are excellent reads. The PB book is definitely more scientific - if you just want the bare quick facts and not the whys and hows as much, the 21 day is perfect for you. Hope this helps!

Make your own "slice" of pie! Have a graham cracker, crumble it over a pudding cup, and add some non-fat whip! Voila! You get what you're craving and not breaking the calorie bank. :-)

When I had numb toes from the elliptical, I changed shoes and got a larger size - and that fixed the issue for me! :)

With the amount of weight that you lost, my guess is that it is skin. Is the skin damaged (ie. stretch marks)? If so, then unfortunately the only way to get rid of it is surgery. It does take a little longer for the skin to catch up to the body, but damaged skin can't repair itself.
