Don't worry about starting and dropping off - I did that for a number of months. And then - I found my groove and got committed. I've lost 45 pounds now - I thought it would be my goal weight, but I think I want 5-10 more. Just keep trying. You'll get there!

Hi! Add me please! I'm doing the same thing. I have about 5-10 more pounds to lose (I'm American) - and my goal is to have it off before my half marathon on May 7th. I'm also focusing on strength training, so I may not see the pounds budge, but I expect to see the inches off so that I can be more trim for my run!

It is perfectly normal. When you exercise, you release a lot of hormones and endorphins. These can lead to fluid release in your body. Especially after a long and wonderful workout.

Now that I am doing more yoga, my muscles are getting more toned. It makes me feel stronger and much better about myself. Don't listen to what they tell you. Do what makes you feel strong. Our goal is to be proud of ourselves.Keep working on your goals.

I plan on drastically reducing sugar in my diet. I had a week that I didn't have any refined sugar. So, I plan to keep it up by a challenge that my friends are doing that they allow only 3 items a week. That's my game plan. More water, good carbs, lean proteins.

Muscle burns fat, and muscle is not as bulky as fat. A pound of fat and a pound of muscle weigh the same but the muscle is so much smaller.

That's super! congratulations. I love that you have made some short term goals. I haven't done that yet. My boy likes to slap the back of my arms and watch them jiggle. :) (He's 6 years old) I am so excited for the day when he goes to slap and I won't jiggle!
