I'd add 2-3 lb dumb bells during your walk. You can also use the lighter weights to do some arm work while sitting in a chair. Just a small increase in intensity can make a difference.

Protein is awesome. My trainer has put me on a 2 carb:1 protein ratio. I've stayed full longer. I've been able to stick to my 1500 calories easily and I don't feel deprived. I agree - what MFP sets seems too low.

Better to eat fruit than junk food. The sugars that fruit provides aren't the bad sugars you have to watch. Everything in moderation, of course. Just remember that the numbers are a guide line and don't worry too much about going into the red. :)

You could try breaking them in half. Take half in the morning with a meal and a thick drink (like milk) and take the other half some time later in the day: dinner or before bed. Or try taking the whole pill at nite before you go to sleep. Hopefully you'll sleep thru the nausea. There are always adult gummy vitamins.
