spin bike ,flat out high gear 30 mins 500 cals . that is as close as i can do

45 % protein 25 carb 30 fat . my weight is dropping without losing any muscle . i also upped my cal intake as was always hungry .

started the week bad .i had an asthma attack so that cut out the exercise for 2 days but have bounced back nicely .done well with food so if i can keep that going i might have a loss :bigsmile: :bigsmile:

i put back on a pound but not upset as it was best week training i have done since i joined mfp. my body is finding it balance every time i gain back a pound i have done well the following week .i hope this continues .

starving yourself today wont help,just accept you had a good night and try to do a little extra during the week ,i pigged out friday and weighed myself today .was a up a pound not enough to worry me .

add the weights now ,dont worry about getting bigger ,unless u target mass gain the body will tone and shape your muscles, if you can do your weights and cardio on different days if not always do weights first . hope this helps

great rant :mad: :mad: :mad: .totally agree on this.since i started mfp i have tried a few different things to help me .some worked others i gained , i still ask for advice concerning training when i'm stuck . advice is free .you can take it or not

just by whats posted the 1 thing i would change is carb -protein -fat ratio .yours seems carb heavy .your body has the 60lb you want to lose as energy .even if you balance it out at 35%carb/protein 30% fat you might see a difference.and not feel to slugish.

you use your back and traps more in life than your chest so when you start training pulling is always a little easier ,

hi clara ,as a kid i started boxing and we used weights at least once a week ,it done me no harm and helped me out in other sports .also when my son started rugby he came to me about getting stronger for the scrum .he did weights twice a week with me at 9 years old ,he is now 19 and 6 foot so did not stop him growing

without seeing your food diary i cant comment on what your eating ,but i have found changing my intake to 40% protein 30%carb 30%fat .i have seen weight come down and more important the inches come off . this week i am reducing all processed carbs in diet to force body to use stored fat for energy .

cast iron plates ,rubber mats and when i say dropped it as i was doing sets it was the only one i let down fast ,i was still holding it . the gym was looking for a different style of client .lifters were not welcome
