  • I'm in! Looks like I'll be the only guy, but that's okay!
  • It happens to the best of us! When I was on vacation in May, my diet and exercise went out the window! The best thing to do is to pick yourself up and start fresh and not to let anything hold you back because you're going to come back fierce! -ian
  • Way to go, Chrissy!!! :drinker: Great that you have photos to remember this milestone by, too! -Ian
  • Thank you! You'll get there, it takes a little bit of time. I started watching calories and exercising in June of last year. Of course, I fell off of the band wagon a few times, but now, I'm back in full swing with a lot more determination! That's what is great about this place. You can always come here when you need some…

  • It uses the same board. They have a Board/Game combo for $99, but if you have the original Wii Fit, then all you need is the game! -Ian

  • Here's to wishing you a ton of luck! If you want to meet your goal, you'll need to drop about 5 pounds per week, for 2 months. I'm not a doctor, but if I were to try a goal like that, I would clear it with a doctor first. Glad you are aboard! :drinker: -Ian

  • I preordered mine this morning!!!!
  • Eat a banana before working out. It's very easy for your body to digest and it can easily turn the food into energy needed for a workout. After cooling down, then eat your regular breakfast. That's how I do it anyhow, LOL!
  • I like to use the Wii Fit (just got off of it!) in the mornings to complement my 5k jogging training. The strength training helps along with the Aerobic/Cardio portion. 30 minutes each morning is all it takes!
  • I personally didn't care for Jillian cussing at everyone during the workouts. It seemed she had just gotten off a pirate ship. But, I do think it will be a great season and I can definitely use the extra motivation each week! -Ian
  • Going to try this tonight! Man it sounds great I get hungry just thinking about it! -Ian
  • Hi Nicole! Welcome to MFP.com I'm sure you'll love it here! OH- HUGE Congrats on slimming down from 305 to 238! That's a great achievement! Best of luck to you and I'll see ya around sometime! -Ian
  • I have the Wii Fit, and it is rather enjoyable! I definitely like how it masks exercise. After about 45 minutes on this thing, you definitely feel some muscles that you've never felt before. I don't have the Wii Active, although I've heard it works well for those serious about getting into shape. Not sure if it's as 'fun'…

  • THANKS Jenny!!! I forgot to mention in the above post that I beat my old Mile and 5k records, too! My old mile time was 9:44. I smashed it and it's now 9:08 per mile . My 5k time was 29:42. I also smashed it and it's currently 28:03 per 5k.
  • LOL! That's evil, BUT you gotta do what you gotta do!
