Not sure what the nutrition info is on Nutella, but has anyone tried the new Philadelphia Cream Cheese Indulgences? They are about 110 calories for 2 tablespoons. If you don't like cream cheese, you will like these. They taste like thick pudding. Three flavors: Dark Chocolate, Milk Chocolate, White Chocolate. They will…

I hate to be the bearer of sad tidings but from the sounds of the response you got, I highly doubt there will be any "record" of this incident. The way they responded to you was as if they were protecting him. "That's just the way he is" and "not getting his sense of humor" or "he was having a bad day" or whatever - that…

Geez, it's been so long ago I guess I don't really remember. I'm sure I was nervous too because I took the ride solo. I do remember thinking I was in deep *kitten* if something happened to me out in the middle of a nowhere cornfield. I rode about 100 miles that first trip. That was alot for me on a little 250 Suzuki which…

Nope sorry. But I bet there are some horseback riders out there as well.

Well, thanx. I seriously considered asking him if he wanted to sell it. It was a 2007 Harley Knight Rider (think that's what it's called). I wasn't sure I would fit on it. I'm only 5'0" so it's tough to find a bike sometimes. It was pretty easy to get upright as well. No sense in buying a bigger bike if you can't get it…

My brother was killed years ago in a bike accident. If I were you, I'd sign up for a motorcycle riders class to learn properly. If you have the itch - SCRATCH IT!! Join us on the Group Forum for Women Riders

OMG, that's awful. I bet she took a lot of kidding after everything settled down. So glad you're ok.

Mine was August 10th. I was on my way home from work. About 3-4 miles from home. My husband was in New Hampshire so I was on my own. Good thing he has great friends to help me out.

I like the freedom of not having to wear a helmet (we're a no-helmet state). My crash was not as drastic as yours but I was still damn lucky I didn't kill myself. I was able to slow down and lay my bike down before I hit anything other than my hard head on something cuz I was out for a bit and bleeding like a stuck pig…

Thanx for the compliments ladies. I guess I should clarify that the bike in the pic was a friends bike I took for a spin while we were down in Florida.

My husband and I talked about going to Laconia. Unfortunately, his schedule doesn't often allow it. Maybe someday.

Pat, 61, one son 32, riding for about 6 years, 2007 Yamaha 650 V-Star. Crashed in August. My husbands friend I looked worse than the bike. No major damage to the bike. I had a bit of road rash and a major broken thumb. Took my first ride since the crash this past weekend. Oh, Indianapolis, Indiana since 2002 (born and…

Same here. Only female biker at work. I got a funny half-a$$ed compliment on my birthday this year (turned 61). One of the young gals I work with told me that she hopes she's as cool as me when she's my age - lol

Originally from Michigan - now in Indy (Indianapolis, Indiana)

Same here, love to ride but go mostly on my own unless my hubby happens to be in town - which isn't often in the summer. Where is everyone from? Anyone doing any events? - Sturgis, Daytona, Laconia, etc.

No problem, I was surprised to see how many of us there are. Whatever blows your hair back!!!

Ok ladies - I opened a group: "Women Riders"

I would give you the same advice - find a nice big empty parking lot and ride your butt off. Just take it slow, ride back and forth. Practice turning. Just remember to point your vision where you want to go and your bike will naturally follow. After all, when you drive your car you look ahead, not down at the pavement…
