Yeah, I was at a party last weekend and a few people asked me about my weight loss and I said how much and then a crowd formed...I kind of felt like a circus show for a bit lol

Ofcourse any of these are not necessary, but for me, they are: 1. digital food scale - I have been measuring for years and when I attempt to stop i always gain weight back lol 2. MFP -- studies show that people who keep food journals not only lose weight BUT KEEP IT OFF 3. Heart Rate Monitor - This will show you how many…

There are these cookies at my local grocery store... My wife and I call them "crack" cookies because you can't just have one... and no we have never actually had crack BUT I imagine the yearning is near that scale(maybe?).

I applaud these girls for motivating me when I'm at the gym!! Although, I don't go to the gym any more as I do p90x haha--but I remember those days!

It's more than healthy, but I would switch the vegetable oil for coconut oil. It's a healthier oil for you to cook with as it has a higher smoking point and doesn't convert into bad fat chains like vegetable oil when cooked. Neither of them are healthier calorie wise for you but from a cancer-prevention risk, it's…

I love calculating down to the exact number lol. If I don't I somehow feel I shorted myself or went over--I know that not to be the case. However, I've kept off over 100lbs for over 4 years now and when I try to just average things out without calculations I always seem to go over and weight creeps back on... So I will…

I've had no problem eating right before bed. As long as it fits in with your caloric intake/exertion the math will work itself out. Although, you will have people disagree with this. I'm sure it's technically a more efficient way to eat a few hours before, i've never had this be a problem for me and I typically eat high…

When I was larger, one every other day and had to strain, now every morning like clockwork with ease!

I was goaled at 180 but I'm thinking about 170 now, but I'm already hearing people telling me I'll look too thin.. I don't know. And yes, I'm 5'8"

I'm not sure about your macros. However, they could be over-carbed like you say. But without seeing that it's hard to tell. Also, are you exercising enough to get rid of the carbs after eating... There are so many factors. I eat around 60% of carbs each day with 20/20 on the rest. I've gained muscle and lost fat. But…

Example: Back in 2008 I weighed over 300lbs. I had to eat around 1,700 calories to lose 2lbs a week. I now eat 2,100 calories a day if I want to lose 2-3 lbs a week (because I have gained muscle--which burns more calories). These would also be very similar p90x workouts.

Carbs rock, at least 60% of my diet is carbs!! Waffles at night? Yes!
-
The only time I do that is if it's 3am, dark and I want it to stay dark.
-
Rest days are important and I will also take a rest week every few months!! The rest week will only be a week off of something specific like resistance or cardio though. Once I took off a week with no exercise and the extra energy kept me awake all night... it was crazy haha.

I would post the second you were SURE it wasn't coming back on! :)

It's possible! You just have to sacrifice in the beginning but it gets easier--so much easier!! I've kept it off over 100lbs now for 4+ years now. You have to find what motivates you and get on that like there is no tomorrow...and obsess over it.

More water and volumetric foods through your meals will help keep you full as well.

I haven't read all of the other comments, but perhaps you have lost a lot of muscle from eating too few calories? Just an idea, I hope that is not the case though!
-
Once a week, Saturday morning. Any more than that I would risk demotivating myself as fluctuations happen that I may perceive negatively--which affects motivation! Once a week shows progress every time!!
-
Lost it and have kept off over 110+ lbs for about 4 years now!! I teeter with 10 lbs from time to time due to holidays and vacation BUT yes it can be done!!

I have played MMORPG's, but mostly now I play EVE when I have the time, which is rare...check the sig for the Charon!

I tried that in the beginning as well. Over-exercising made me atrophy and gain fat/lose muscle. While the scale looked good it was very bad because i couldn't eat as many calories the next day without gaining weight as muscle was the only thing burning calories. In the end I found out moderation 1 hour to 1.25 hour max of…

Also, you should drink MORE if you are in-taking more sodium than you should. This will help flush that out a bit. I in-take quite a bit of salt as I work out in the garage when it's wacky hot outside and I lose so many fluids--So i drink extra water and add salt to my food. This has probably helped me stay on my diet for…

I'm on p90x2. I keep saying I'm going to start Insanity but haven't yet, perhaps soon lol

That feeling will go away with time, but yes, in the interim use a compression shirt, works wonders!

+1 Skinnytaste.com

Yeah, heart rate monitor is the best bet for accurate count. I've even seen user submitted foods way off lol

AMAZING!!!
-
You can eat pure lard on YOUR cheat day!! Whatever keeps you motivated to come back for more... McDonalds will probably work well as you will feel like crap afterwards, thus making you want to eat healthier for another week :)

100% calories for me!! After calories are figured out, if I notice I am not eating enough protein/carbs i will adjust my macro nutrients in favor of making sure I have enough protein first... but all in all it's calories for me.
