Yeah, if he sees you every day the change isn't going to be as noticable--espcially for a man. My wife will move furniture and put up pictures in rooms and I won't even notice lol

This is the FUN part!!! YES, slowly increase calories when you hit your goal. It's crazy all the extra food you can eat and maintain!!

My wife loved me when I was over 300 lbs. She never once told me I needed to lose weight. Someone is out there for you that doesn't judge and will love you for you!

Sounds tantalizing. I love quinoa and love mac/cheese... sounds great together as well. Can't wait to try!

Thanks for the site recommendation! That will definitely keep us busy for a few days!

Yeah... This is no biggie!! We all need to cheat as that's a part of life and your new diet is now a part of your life, don't think of it as short-term and it won't hurt so much mentally. Anytime I overeat I use the next day as a day to use that extra fuel to do some heavier resistance OR longer distance. And, typically,…

Sounds great, please post. My wife has made the Quinoa burgers before and they are good. We even tried black-bean burgers that were spicy and they rocked as well.

Lately I've been having 3 scrambled eggs with sea salt and I also have a tablespoon of this maple infused almond butter--it all equates to around 310 calories. I typically eat this right after my workout in the morning as it seems to help. On a side note, let me just say, I may have almond butter 2 or 3 times a day now…

Keep on going and don't listen to what anyone thinks! Permanent weight loss is possible and will change your life for the better, you just need to stick with it!!

Yeah, no need to feel bad about it. We all make mistakes from time to time, but it's time to get back on the horse! God will help you this time if you ask! :)

Terrific job!!

When muscles are active with daily resistance exercises they retain a bit more water, at least on me. It's funny, if I eat bad for a few days on vacation while continuing to do my normal cardio and resistance routine I will gain a few lbs, as expected. However, when I take off a week of resistance and go on vacation, but…

Terrific job on reaching your goal! And yes, read NROLFW as well :)

Here is another tip, eat a lot of volumetric foods (large mass foods with lower calories).
-
Because I finished my workout today and I can do some productive things around the house :)
-
I've noticed my running distance and speed picks up the day after I eat more than I should haha. Perhaps, it's our bodies way of telling us we need more to fuel our intense workouts?

Terrific Job!!

When I first started losing weight I cut down on high caloric foods. I didn't realize it until 5 months in that I didn't have any red meat lol... From that point on I stopped eating red meat as a point I make to myself as I probably gained most of my fat from baconators at Wendy's. Anyway, yeah, your lifestyle changes and…

It's all calories in and calories out. I think this lasts 10 lbs since i joined has been the hardest as the last 10 always is... But when I first started I was so fat I think I lost 10 lbs the first week lol (all water of course).

That's how you do it! Eat more and lose weight--it works!
-
LOL that's evil but awesome at the same time!

I play EVE, good game!

I've found motivation with weighing myself once a week, instead of watching the fluctuating scale during the week, on Saturday morning was the best for me.
