  • I live in Lake Jackson :-)
  • I'm just starting back so the numbers are about the same SW: 216.6 CW: 213.2 I'm 5', so this definitely looks like a lot on me. Boo!!
  • There are actually quite a few in the groups section, just happened to look them up when you said that :-)
  • Definitely need to jump on this thread  I'm 5' on the dot and right now weighing 216 (which is my highest EVER!!) My eventual goal weight is about 120, but we'll see what feels good when I get down there. I'm not concerned with the weight number as much as I am with what fits and looks best for me. I've been…
  • @Amber - We live just south of Houston and thankfully missed last week's hail, but so sorry you were caught in the middle. To answer your 2 choices, between an Infinity and a Hyundai, I'd go for Hyundai. They've definitely upgraded their look and style, and in the long run will be cheaper. Especially with insurance in…
  • While you look great, what I notice the most is your SMILE!!  You can tell just how much happier you are in your new skin! Awesome Job!! :drinker:
  • Fantastic information in here! So many people are worried about only eating 1200 calories, and then only eat those low calorie meals and snacks. Those are so un-filling and loaded with chemicals, that you then want to binge later on. Going to mess with the calculation when I get home and see what I come up with. Again…
  • These are fantastic!!
  • I have it horribly, but I've been overweight since my first pregnancy (7 years ago). I'm 9 wks PP and Hailslyrics is 100% right. I've read about it since my first. You have to strengthen those muscles back together or no matter what exercise you'll always have that little pooch. :ohwell: Could be worse, you could have the…
  • Thanks ladies, I do work part time and I'm able to make my own schedule which is nice, and has made it possible to not put my 7 y/o daughter in after school care. About a year after moving to TX, we had Hurricane Ike and my work was damaged so bad I couldn't return. My daughter was about 3 then and I kept her home for a…
  • Welcome! I'm 7 weeks PP, just below my pre-pregnancy weight (doesn't mean I'm any smaller though). I wish I was still able to breastfeed, mainly for my sons health benefit, but the losing weight was a big plus too. Congrats on the weight loss so far
  • Thanks everyone, I know it's a slow race, but I was just hoping for things to semi fit. I have not been great with my eating at all, so I know I need to start paying attention to that and get in the gym more, or at least work out at home.
  • My Dr. had a very good point when I would ask what is normal. He said your body has been rearranging itself inside for the past 9 months, between the surgery, hormones, and just normal post-partum it's going to take a couple months for your body to get back to normal. I just had my 2nd c-section, the first one was horrible…
  • That sooo describes me!! Age 28 Height 5' (yea I haven't grown since 6th grade, at least up anyways) SW: 201 CW: 203  GW: 115-125 eventually
  • It's normally just water weight, and should go away afterwards. When it's about that time ramp up your water intake, and if you really need to, try something like midol to helping with bloating. Watching our weight go up and down is just another fun curse we get to deal with :-)
  • Look at those LEGS!! Awesome job!!
  • I moved to FL to help my mom with a surgery she was having. I was 19, he was 26 at the time. My now-husband lived across the street and had taken care of her dog while she was gone. When he brought the garage door opener back, I remember thinking "Wow, he's really good looking!" My mom had bought a gift card for him, and…
  • Just keep going at the 10 minutes, and you'll keep going up and up. You've already gone from 3 minutes to 10 minutes, which is great. The thing to remember is go as long as you can, not just when you feel a little tired push past that and keep going. Pretty soon you'll be on there for an hour and it'll be like nothing!
  • ew MRE's I rememer those, there were only 2 I could stand, but they're so high in sodium and made to be so many calories because when military guys are eating them they NEED those extra calories. Good luck to them and great job on your dinner
  • I completely understand, my opinion is as long as the weight is coming off and you're doing it to make yourself healthy why does it matter? I have people look at me and say the only way is exercise and eat right, well yes that is a huge component but what if there are other factors hindering the initial weight loss? I just…
  • He smiled, careful to keep his mouth closed. There was no sense showing off his fangs. "So say that."
  • I live near the Varner-Hogg Plantation, remember this was years ago, but yes the daughter was Ima and the other was Ura
  • I bought quite a variety of their things as well, honey mustard I can't stand has a chalky taste, but the thousand island is ok in a small amount. The barbecue sauce is good, after the first time. But honestly my favorites from them are the fruit dips, I constantly have the chocolate and caramel fruit dips for my apples…
  • There's quite a few people on it, and as Theresa said it works. Mainly as long as you follow protocol, and for the women who mentioned gaining it back this can happen if you don't continue to follow the better eating habits. And the thyroid problem is probably causing the weight gain. Check out our thread…
  • My husband loves those as well, and I told him the other day to find an alternative. Health wise they are definitely bad, and I thought the same thing, if I could make it healthier for him without waking up @ 4 to cook it for him. Let me know if you experiment
  • I have a girl at work who has used both and personally likes the Turbo Fire much better. More dance incorporated and she said the instructor is very motivating. She keeps talking to you and encouraging you to keep going. I guess it just all depends on what you think would keep you interested and motivated more :-)
  • Here's a very supportive thread http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/222477-hcg-progress-updates-page-2-for-people-on-it-or-thinking-a
  • Sorry about loud neighbors, I know how that goes. Like someone else suggested maybe talking it over with them (which isn't always easy). We lived in a complex and had to call the police on the people behind us at least twice, once was loud loud music way into the night, and the second time sounded like they were building a…
  • My husband makes fun of me because I'm constantly watching the Food Network or Cooking Chanel. I LOVE triple D, Best thing I ever ate, unique eats, anything that has the different foods. I especially love triple D because he's been to a few restaraunts here and it's great to get the word out about places around here!
