Check your measurements. I haven't lost one single pound but I've lost an inch off my waist. My friend lost 2 pounds and 1 1/2 inches off of hers. Your body might just be readjusting.

CrossFit is a program originally designed for military, firefighters, SWAT, etc. but it turned out to be so good it's now for the masses. It's free and they encourage you to not use globo gym (the regular gyms). They give you a workout every day (well, 3 days on, 1 day off) online (FOR FREE!). You can scale it down to your…

Awesome! Do you do CrossFit too? If not, you should! After seeing those pics, I can tell you'd be great with those workouts! Good job!

I'd log in the whole time. You were still burning calories even if you weren't sweating. Like you said, you were moving the whole time. hope this helps!
-
I would log it in. That's what my husband did yesterday. He burned alot of calories in just 45 minutes! He said he'd rather do that every day then run. He listed it as "general gardening" in the cardio section.
-
Thanks for the recipe! I plan on making these soon!

I've never seen the HG book...I have to check it out now. Sounds awesome! Congrats on your win!

under cardio in the exercise tab there is a "general gardening" category. That's what my husband uses.

There are TONS of great low cal, low fat food! Lots of spices and herbs and everything fresh makes it great. Like the other posters suggested, check out the recipe section for some new ideas. If you get bored and tired of eating the same things you will not stick to your plan. You'll end up caving. Vary it up, try new…

Those darn commercials!! ALL I think about now is the Baskin Robbins new Soft Serve in 31 flavors!!!! YUMMMMM...I've resisted for 2 weeks now! I might splurge this weekend though.... I feel like that commercial comes on every 15 minutes! "Don't be so vanilla..." UGH!

I'm making some yummy low fat muffins and putting it in a basket with a cute mug and some flavored teas. I also bought a flowered blank card and wrote my own Mother's Day greeting. I think anything homemade is special.

Got this from The South Beach Diet Taste of Summer Cookbook. It's considered phase 1. Easy Summer Chicken Chili 1 small avocado, finely chopped 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice 1/4 teaspoon salt 1 tablespoon EVOO (extra virgin olive oil) 1 medium onion, chopped 1 small green bell pepper, chopped 1 small zucchini, thinly…

In honor of Cinco de Mayo I had 2 egg whites and 1 whole egg all scrambled with a 1/4 cup mixture of black bean, corn, red onions, and cilantro. I topped it off with shredded 2% cheddar cheese and spicy green salsa. Yummy!

I'm sure broccoli slaw will work great. The texture and crispness is about the same as the cole slaw mix. I'll have to try that one day. Thanks!

This makes 2 fish tacos. Ingredients: 3 oz Mahi mahi 2 Guerrero white corn tortillas Dole cole slaw mix 1 tbsp. Daisy light sour cream low sodium taco seasoning (McCormick) drizzle of extra virgin olive oil lime wedges **Season Mahi mahi with salt, pepper, 2 tsp. taco seasoning, and drizzle with olive oil (so it doesn't…

What if you cleared it outta the house (all the cookies, cupcakes, etc). I found that if it's in my house and in my sight, it's all I want. If it's outta sight, then it's outta mind for me. Sometimes I know that's hard to do if you have kids or a husband who eats ice cream every night (hint, hint)...lol...but I put it all…

You can usually find the black pearl tapioca at any asian market (in CA there was 99 Ranch Market). I just buy those, cook my own (it's just boiling it in water) and make my own smoothies. Then I just add the boba (tapioca pearls) to the smoothie. The asian markets also sell the big bajanga straws so you can suck them up!…

I personally don't eat them because I choose not to anything prepackaged (every now and then I'll have something small). There is just too much sodium and sugars in prepackaged foods (there's 10g of sugar in the Hostess 100 calorie cupcakes). I usually just have fresh fruit for my "natural" sugar. This is just a personal…

oatmeal, lentils, lots of water, bananas, and chocolate (in moderation) are some that I know of. Don't skip meals and eat your good snacks (not 100 calorie hostess cakes!). I came across this article, check it out. It might help. http://www.webmd.com/diet/fight-fatigue-energy-foods-6/power-up I like to cut my bananas into…

I'm not sure if it'll hinder your weight loss, but that much of something your body doesn't need naturally has to have some affect. I used to do the redbulls and rockstars daily and decided to quit putting that stuff into my body (I don't drink coffee or sodas) and that was a killer! I had the BIGGEST headache for about a…

Yesterday I got a new cookbook in the mail. It's called Cooking Light Fresh Food Fast. It's a 5 ingredient, 15 minute recipe book and I LOVE it! There is calorie count and nutritional breakdown for every recipe. I'm a huge fan of soups and salads and this book has plenty. I'm not sure if they sell it at Borders or…

I LOVE blogs! I have one too, but it's not for weight loss. It's my family website about the daily comes and goings, thoughts, and things going on in my life. I really enjoy doing my own and reading others. I'll be sure to bookmark yours and read it to! Good luck on your journey, I look forward to reading all about it!…

You said this was before exercise...are you exercising now? If not, I think once you start, you'll realize that this amount of cal. won't do for you anymore! If I go below 1200 on my workout days, I start getting dizzy and weak feeling. Maybe it's good for now cause your not exercising, but when you start, I would increase…

Grilled fruit is great! We usually do pineapples, nectarines and peaches. I like them as dessert with some yogurt on top. Sometimes we just throw bell peppers, onions and mushrooms all together with some fresh herbs and grill as a side. There's also grilled romaine hearts for a side salad. Hope this gets some ideas going.

I have the jack lalane juicer and it rocks! No need to peel fruit either. It comes with a recipe book and you can use the pulp of the fruit to make other things (apple juice = apple bran muffins). I haven't used it in a while, maybe I should bust it out again. I got it at Costco for $100 I think.

Np. Hope they answered your questions there!

I love my big time change compared to everyone else. I get to see all your suggestions and use them for my lunch and dinner! I'm 6 hours behind you eastcoasters!
