  • Everyone already gave pretty good advice on getting her to pee/poop outside. Just wanted to put out there if she continues to eat her poop I have heard putting some pineapple in their diet makes the poop smell bad to them so they stop the urge to eat it.
  • I have done a few 5K's before and they can be a lot of fun. I don't normally eat before, but I also find this will hurt my running. If you are used to eating something before hand then I would. However, I wouldn't go and have a huge breakfast. I would drink some water but again you don't need to go crazy, you will want to…
  • You look wonderful and so happy. Congrats on the weight loss and meeting your goals!!
  • I think you look fantastic and good for you for being healthier. I think it's a preception issue for them. Yes, they are in the industry of fitness and health but that is for strangers. They are used to seeing you a certain way, they are used to your face looking a certain way. You look much thinner than your before…
  • That's awesome. You look great! Congrats
  • Finding something that works for you is always the best option. Just don't let it turn into months of overeating and eating unhealthy foods because you don't want to quit cold turkey. Try to make one change a week or a day, try a new healthy food each week/day. Challenge yourself and be proud of every little thing you…
  • You look incredible. Great job with the weight loss!
  • Big fan of putting them on my salad. Roasted with spices are also good as a snack.

  • I have a dry erase board on my freezer door. On there goes a two week meal plan for dinner each night. Those dinners are planned based off what's for sale in flyers and what I already have at the house. I have some pretty easy to follow cookbooks that help out. Best thing if you are already drawn to "easy to make" go out…
  • I waited in front of a stopped bus this morning for what felt like an eternity but in reality I'm sure was five minutes. BUT what got me is the bus sat with it's red lights flashing (so you can't pass) while the Mom put her kids in the car, started the car and drove the 100 feet to the end of the road so the kids didn't…
  • Be proud of everything you accomplish, especially the small stuff!
  • How else will you prepare your body to escape the coming zombie hoard? The slow get eaten, the fast run away and live....which do you want to be? AND... zombies don't tire out so you have to be able to run fast for long distances!
  • Well for starters pepperoni vs. chicken breast. If you are talking just a 6 inch with chicken on wheat with nothing, then there's no veggies, sauce, cheese, etc. That could make a big difference when you add that stuff in. Maybe flatbread is more calories than the bread too. Can you look on their nutritional chart and…

  • I say Fitness because I was starting to feel myself getting slugish as I was getting into my 30's and didn't want that to become my 40's+ where I was battling health problems. I guess trying to be proactive about it. But....I feel somewhere deep down it's Fashion for everyone (IMO). There is a standard out there and even…
  • He's a tool and she shouldn't get a boob job! Maybe he should check out his own parts and think about his "bigger is better" comment! If he loved her, really loved her, then her boob size wouldn't matter. Shallow!
  • Weight loss comes from calories in vs. calories out. So your body burns so many calories just to stay alive and if you cut that amount you will lose. However, if you aren't going to exercise there isn't another way to lose more or faster. You cannot cut your calories too low or you will just harm yourself. So you have to…
  • That happens at my office a lot too. I try to pick what I will indulge in. If there is a lunch then a lot of times they will have left over salad. So I feel like I got something but it was better for me than the sandwich. If I do have a sandwich then I skip my lunch (which helps to make up some of the calories), and try to…
  • I guess the best thing is try a lot of different things. Keep trying stuff until he finds some other things he likes. It may take awhile but you might get there. But it's really up to him, if he's not willing to make the effort than you will just be the bad guy. Also you mentioned that he likes the active runs. Maybe sign…
  • Be honest about what you are eating, and that means knowing how many calories. You might not want to eat less but you should at least know what you are eating.
  • Remember that when you start this it needs to be a life change. So don't just "Diet" and then go back to the way things were. Also if you have a "bad day" that doesn't erase everything you have already done. You pick back up the next day and start all over again. Don't give up because you are worth it. Feel free to add me…
  • Fiji!! That is totally on my list. Also, I live in the US and have been to a lot of the states you don't normally get to (Alaska & Hawaii) but sadly haven't seen much of the rest of the country. I would love to do a cross country where time wasn't an issue and I could just see things and go places.
  • You make posts like this and when someone replies and you want them as a friend you send them a friend request. Feel free to add me :-)
  • For starters welcome to the world of being a clutz and babbling like an idiot LOL! I have done the same things....well maybe not the zombie comments. But I just make a joke about it. I have a good sense of humor and I wouldn't want to be with a guy who didn't. That being said I have been married to a guy for about 3 1/2…
  • I had to look up Marmite LOL but doesn't sound yummy at all. Wikipedia (which of course I know isn't 100% accurate) describes it as "sticky dark brown food paste which is extremely salty" EWWWWW
  • I think a lot of it will depend on how much I burn. If it's only 200 calories then I don't bother, but if it's 1,000 I have to eat some back.
  • Welcome to MFP & congrats on the first logging with many more to come. Good luck reaching your goal!!
  • Not sure of how much weight in the stomach you are talking, but if it's all fat you need to do some cardio to cut that down. Ab workouts will help build muscle but you can have plenty of that hidden under fat.
  • Welcome to MFP! That sounds like a goal you can achieve as long as you work at it. And Happy early Birthday!
  • Wow, that's an incredible story. You are pretty lucky to be alive. Glad to hear you have stopped a lot of those bad habits but you might want to look into a support group. Sounds like you might need more than friends here on MFP can provide. Not trying to pry or push, just want to see you healthy. Feel free to add me as a…
