  • again like others mentioned, its something you should check with your doctor. however - i am of similiar build and age and when i run and find that my heart rate is usually elevated to 180 bpm for about 40 mins every time i work out (not that i have been doing a lot of that lately). I havent had any issues so far apart…
  • your doing so well - and especially looking at your diary, your putting some of us (like me) to shame. less carbs, more protein and dont go too low under your calorie requirements because your going to slow down your metabolism so when you do relax your diet, the weight will creep back on. the other principle which seems…
  • i find that eating gluten rich foods, anything with yeast and consequently white bread brings on the bloaty feeling and weight gain. good luck.
  • i am 131 lbs (59.5 kgs) and trying to get down to 125lbs in time for my holiday next month. my gawd its hard!!!!!!!!!! i had plateaud at 133 for a while despite exercising vigorously but now just trying calorie counting on its own to break it. good luck with your goal as well. feel free to add me if you like.
  • Ditto! and its a pain!!!!
  • i never buy chocolate bars but instead opt for the high end small chocolates like lindt choclate balls and treat myself to one a day.
  • i had the same thing for a while and my trainer was at a loss at to why i was either putting on weight or not losing at all. ultimately it came down to two things: 1. i was over training and my body did not have enough time to recover. i learnt that our muscles hold on to glycogen which binds with water to carry out muscle…
  • i am 5'3 and i know exactly what you mean. it is so tough to keep the weight off and find that my body has a number it seems to like and every year it goes up a teeny tiny bit. 5 years ago it was 56 kgs and now its sitting around 60 kgs and no matter how well i eat and how much i work out, it seems to stagnate / plateau…
  • I get the same thing when working out. it definitely has to do with your body trying to get a bit more oxygen. but to date it has not caused an issue in the way i train - but in your case, if it persists and becomes a bit of a nuisance then might be an idea to go to the gp for a general health check. good luck.
  • a sports bra is a must!!!
  • hang in there - sometimes our body fights us before conceding that it needs to let go of the fat that its holding on to. it could be worse - you could put on weight. I put on half a kilo this week whilst my partner lost 1.5 kgs on the same diet. but dont despair - i am sure you will see movement by next week.
  • interesting to read everyone's posts... i am like the OP and have always worn makeup.
