Trouble losing the last 10 pounds!

My goal is to weigh 125 pounds by the end if the year. I'm currently around 130, but I'm finding it incredibly hard to lose the last little bit. Looking for friends with the same struggles!

    Well if you are like the majority of people I know, I have a feeling you are over extending your goal and not eating too much. So if you post your height and workout routine, then we can see how many calories you should be eating. BTW, how many calories are you eating.
  • I'm 5'3" and my goal is 1250 calories a day. I'm not logging right now because I feel I need a break from logging, but I'll start again on August 1st.

    Whats your exercise routine? Right now, I have your estimated BMR at 1427. Even with no exericse, I would have you more around 1350 for calories. Also, at this point, you really should concentrate on fat loss instead of weight loss. And as I always say, weight loss makes you look good in clothes but fat loss makes you look good naked.
  • My exercise routine: pilates every day, and I'm running now. My friend is living in my house, so my stationary bike is temporarily inaccessible, but I usually do that vigorously for 20 minutes to 45 almost every day. Sometimes I do Zumba, and I swim laps a bit.
  • You can use the stationary bike whenever you want!!!! Goodness.

    i am 131 lbs (59.5 kgs) and trying to get down to 125lbs in time for my holiday next month. my gawd its hard!!!!!!!!!!

    i had plateaud at 133 for a while despite exercising vigorously but now just trying calorie counting on its own to break it. good luck with your goal as well.

    I'm at 122 and want to lose the last 10 before september! Its definitely hard to get rid of those pesky last pounds :(

    I feel you!!

    I have 6 to my goal, but I may try to lose 10... My problem is I think I may have gotten to comfortable at this weight so I have started to slack off a bit.. also it being summer makes it hard too.

    I have this week off and am going to visit family, I will recomit 100% when I get back, becuase I really wanna hit my goal.
    I have also started the 30 day shred in addition to my workout schedule.

    I am on my last 9 pounds and feel like I have been here for a year : ) I am getting so frustrated. I have heard a lot lately about eating enough and am not sure that I am since I am eating about 1200 a day. If anyone knows anything more information about this please fill me in. Feel free to add me if you would like

    Op, based on your stats and workout, you should be esting around 1800 calories daily. And with this method you would not eat back exercise calories as its included in your tdee. Also, drop some of the cardio crap and start weight training. WT burns fat, cardio struggles at that. So if you want greater fat loss do 3 days of weight training, 2 days of cardio/HIIT and one day of pilates or yoga. And you need rest.


    Everyone else, you need to eat. If you dont you body conserves and will fight harder to maintain your body fat and start to look at catabolizing lean muscle mass for energy.
