I only just started going to Aldi's last year, but really like it. They built a new one in our town, and it's right across the street from Wal-Mart. I typically go to Aldi's first and try to get everything on my list, and then run into Wal-Mart afterwards for a few things Aldi's may have not had or were out of. I actually…

My BFF and I went on an extended weekend trip in October 2009. We mostly walked around and saw the sights. There's the big "bean" in Millenium Park to see,, we bought passes for a double decker bus tour that was cool and allowed us to see a lot of the city, etc.

Dried fruit, honey, peanut butter, jam, cinnamon, nutmeg, etc. I'm pretty simply when it comes to mine - I usually just do stevia, a touch of 1% milk, and cinnamon. Sometimes I'll do peanut butter.

I just signed up for my local one today! Super excited, as it will be my first 5K. I figured a fun one would be the best way to start out, then I'm going to sign up for another one later in the year.

This is still a work in progress, but I'm trying to instill healthy habits in our 8-year-old. Breakfast is oatmeal every day, with fruit. Sometimes, I will fix scrambled eggs or breakfast burritos. We have "waffle Saturday" at our place and my sister usually comes over and that's our splurge. No more than half a chocolate…

You look amazing!!!! And thank you for posting, because we're practically stat twins, even down to shoe size!!!! I was hoping I could manage just to get down to a size 8 or 10 and weight 160ish, but you're definitely an inspiration!!!! And I hope my girls stay around too, lol. I lost an inch around my chest already and my…

Yep! First thing after toilet, just in underwear.

I always get annoyed by people like that too. Half the time, they're just wanting someone to go "Oh, you're not fat!!!" to make them feel better. I have a friend who always complains about being fat and she'll plan working out and getting healthy and talk about it a lot, but never does. Or lasts a few days and then says…

I've been on Ortho-tricyclen, Apri (generic for Desogen), and now I'm on Sprintec (generic for Ortho-cyclen). I've been on two others (pills), but can't remember what they were. It's just the normal 28-day pill. I like it because it doesn't affect my moods as much as others have, my skin is beautiful and clear (I've never…

My fiance, 2 huge body pillows, 4 regular pillows, and 2 comforters. We both sleep with our blanket tucked in around us, so we each sleep with a seperate comforter so that we're not fighting over one all night long.

I think people say that because the more it means to you, the less likely you are to regret it. So many people go in just to get a tatto or because they think something looks "cool," then to turn around and hate it as the years pass and regret getting it. Not everyone is like that, but a lot of people are, so I think…

I've been making protein "milkshakes" - they satisfy any sweets/ice cream cravings, and a huge one is under 300 calories with 33g of protein.

Yup! I definitely scour the online nutrition guides before getting anything and try to stick to small portions, salads, etc. I rarely eat fast food, but when I do, I make sure it fits within my daily cals.

1) Pay off all debt: student loans, car, etc. 2) Pay off all parents' debt. 3) Purchase new vehicles for myself and fiance. 4) Purchase a house and furnish said house with all our dream furniture/decorations. 5) Invest. Put a sizeable chunk into savings accounts, money market CD's, college funds for future children, etc.…

That's what kind I use. Strangely enough, we were having PB&J's once and my daughter pointed at my sandwich and asked why my bread was different and asked to try it. She now requests the "yummy fancy bread" (lol) at the store now.

I just did this to see. In addition to my Twitter account and my MFP account, it also brings up someone's World of Warcraft Level 31 Druid named "bhalter," AND someone on TruckerPassions.com that is looking for a "hot hairy man."

MFP and ZumbaCalories.com overestimate for me, like most have said. I typically average about 500-600 calories for an hour-long Zumba class.

I have a year's subscription to Shape, since they were on sale last year for $1.99 through Tanga. I have not been impressed. There are a lot of weight-loss supplement ads, and I agree with what a lot of posters said about Holly's story: it sounded scripted, and what is to congratulate for losing weight on pills? Show me a…

While yes, we are all on this site to get support, I also want to keep my friends list manageable. Maybe some can, but I cannot adequately (sp?) support and encourage everyone if I have too many friends or I have friends that are not responding or equally supporting me. If I had a friend like that, I couldn't support their…

LOVE this! Thanks for posting!

For the brief time I had a gym membership before I moved, I loved the Arc trainer and mainly used that for ALL my cardio. I had foot surgery in college and it was very low-impact for me.

I would like at least 8/10. I think that's realistic for my height. (5'10") I can't remember ever being that small, so I don't know what weight that would be.
-
For the most part, I weigh in every Friday. If I've had a few awesome days of calorie-watching and exercising, sometimes I'll weigh in early just to see what's happening, lol.

Feel free to friend me! I'm a Missouri girl, working on losing weight for my Florida wedding next January.
-
Anyone is free to friend me! =) I just started week 1 on Monday and will be doing Week 1, Day 2 this evening! I've never run before, so this is a whole new world and could use all the support I can get!

Yep, mine weighs about 50 pounds more than me at the moment.

I know this question is for guys, but I take off my engagement ring ANY time I exercise. I don't want to risk damaging it or losing it, plus, my fingers swell when I get hot. Yep - mine is already on the verge of not being able to stay on (apparently the 5 pounds I've lost so far came straight from my fingers), but I'll…

I wish you....actually, who cares what you think?

Definitely a boudoir photo shoot for me as well, and a side tattoo.

We grew up on "salmon patties" that my mom made. Flaked salmon pieces mixed with an egg and crushed bread crumbs or crackers, formed into patties, and cooked in a skillet until brown and have a light crust. Delicious!
